Giant Food

I ordered a two layer, 1/4 sheet, strawberry shortcake for our daughter’s 45th birthday. I requested that the cake message be, ‘Happy Birthday, Catwoman’ because that is the name our grandchildren gave to their favorite Aunt. My husband picked up the cake and met me at the restaurant before the rest of the family arrived. I opened the top of the box to put on the Catwoman figure and 45 candles. The top of the cake had 6 huge strawberries and red scrolling along its perimeter. It was beautiful, but I was a bit disappointed that the message was missing. I was certainly wrong about that! When our waiter brought the cake out, we all saw that Alyssa, the cake decorator, had written out, ‘Happy Birthday, Catwoman’ on the two long sides of the cake and ‘Happy Birthday’ on the two shorter cake sides, complete with a drawing of a cat! It was awesome! I spoke to Robin, the bakery manager to find out who decorated the cake and to tell her what a great job Alyssa had done on it.
So, thank you Robin for having such a talented staff, and thank you very much Alyssa for doing such a fabulous job on our daughter’s cake, which only added to the cerebration!

Really enjoyed the updates throughout the store. Thank you Mrs. LAZAIR for the great customer service and assistance. Such a beautiful name. I liked the fresh fruit refrigerator as soon as you walk in.

There is a red box movie machine, coin machine for your loose change, bagged ice, refill water jugs, carpet cleaner station, a mini PNC bank section and an atm.

The entire store has been renovated nicely with self checkout, customer service area, pharmacy, and regular checkout lanes.

I met another customer who advised other store locations have a sale bar and that would be something great to implement inside this location.

Good place for grocery shopping. Well organized and varieties of items available. However the self checking service has issues at this place

Two days after Christmas, Lasagna No....Baked Ziti..Happy Holidays

The Giant has a big issue when you're on a wheelchair so many people buy groceries and they take and put the grocery cart in the bus stop shelter and when they do this I am unable to get on the bus I need the space to back up in so when the bus put the rent down I can get on the ramp on the bus with no problem. So I used to ask the people could the person come down and get the grocery carts and the manager used to send the person to get the grocery card so when the next bus come after I buy my groceries I can get on the bus. Now I asked the other day when I was at Giant and when I got down there to get my food I wasn't able so I had to use my scooter which was low on power and ride down to the next bus stop because I was unable to get on the bus there because it was for grocery carts in the way. So when I came to the grocery store a few days later and I asked the manager and she said sure when I came outside the guy said oh no there's a person to come around with a truck to pick up those things but in the meanwhile you staying there doing nothing and outside and your job is to collect the grocery carts and they been collecting them so giant I am going to other grocery stores now because I can't as a handicapped person push your grocery carts out the way and when those groceries cards going to hit somebody's car. And the guy said oh we can't go on on the street but it's still connected to the same property so I'm not understanding. Giant you get an F. And I can't spend my money there no more.

Always Fresh? Always the Best, Deidra was Kind Enough to clean of the Machine that the Deli meat is sliced off of. I. Could NOT Believe the amount of. Juices that was left from prior slices of meat. She cleaned that machine at least four times and I was so pleased to know that my meat was being freshly sliced on a very clean machine. I'm sure that my deli meat will taste a lot fresher. A special thanks to Deidre for taking very special care about lifelong patron of Giant Food Store. Kudos to Deidre, for, Excellent. Customer. Service.

My experience is always great when I shop at Giant food market. I always leave the store with more than what I intended to buy. The shelves are well stocked at all times, the products are fresh: no expired items and the prices are reasonable. The store lighting makes for a cheerful and inviting environment, the stores are clean and the air is neutral and fresh. The customer service is excellent. In general, Giant Food is a family friendly store and have some 24 hour locations...

The staff is friendly and helpful. I love that this location offers a college discount. It definitely comes in handy. Good produce, fresh seafood, awesome deli counter. The pharmacy staff could be a little warmer and friendlier, but they're always busy, so maybe it's stress.

Unlike other giants (601 east 33rd street) the employees here actually work. My good review has nothing to do with the crush i have on only two or three of the pm customer service representatives and cashier staff ! 🤞

While I wss shopping, I noticed they had arrows and signs. That let me know that they have the customer best interest at heart. I said "They really do care about the customers". It made me feel safe. The store was so clean. That's why I traveled to that Giant. All the associates were friend
ly as well as helpfull. I pass by two grocery stores, just to be where I know the food is fresh and the shelves where the food is kept is clean. Thank you for carting, I mean this, just thank you all!!!

This is my favorite store because I can walk to get my groceries and today I brought cherries they were not cheap 8.99 per pound and I spent too much for them but I love cherries and grapes I love when they have sales

Though there are two Giant grocery stores more convenient and closer to my home - I go out of my way to come to the Loch Raven Giant. The produce section is always well stocked and the fruit, especially the apples, look and taste fresher. The meat department always has a wide variety and many different cuts of meat. The deli and bakery departments are organized and the displays are always neat and look good. Whenever I have needed assistance it is always easy to find someone and they go out of their way to help you. This Giant used to be convenient to my office but when our office location changed, I started going to the other closer Giants. I soon realized that driving out of my way to go to the Loch Raven Giant location was worth it for the quality and great customer service.

This is definitely been my go-to giant for many years the management has always been sharp the staff is always willing to help. Seafood department is great what more can I say about this place it's a great place to shop. So when I must speak of one of the assistant managers mr. Jeremy very astute man very well spoken very cheerful willing to make you smile at your spending your money he deserves a store of his own.

During this Covid 19 crisis I called The Customer Service Department to see if they weren’t busy, if they could check the shelves for my specific brand of coffee.
A very nice lady named Kim took the time to actually go look for me so I wouldn’t stop for nothing. It took some time for her to look and return to the phone. She was so pleasant toward me.
You rock Kim!!! Now THAT was super customer service!!!
