Volunteers of America Thrift Store - Burton

I like going to the Volunteers of America (VOA) Thrift store. It is conveniently located off of I-69 on Belsay Rd. The store is large and contains a lot of stock in each department. The store staff are friendly and helpful! I find their prices to be reasonable. There are restrooms located in the back right area of the store. The store is well lit.

This store is quite large, has many rows of clothing and food prices. The store is also kept very neat, clean and organized by the staff!

My favorite thrift store. I love what they add purple tags to the plus sizes clothes, it makes everything so much easier and quicker. Better selection aswell.

Always an amazing place to shop. They are doing doing grab bags for kids clothes 0-6T for $15.00. It's all online. So amazing!

The store was very clean and organized. The staff was very friendly. Prices were very good. I bought a whole outfit in less than 10 minutes and under $12.00

This place is awesome! It’s my favorite place to go thrift shopping because their inventory is huge and their prices are phenomenal. Every last Tuesday of the month everything in the store is half off! I went today and got 6 summer dresses, 2 bags, 4 belts, a percale sheet set, and a unique looking wooden shelf for under $20. On regular days the store always has two sales tags, one for 50% off and another for 75% off. That’s on top of the already low prices they have folks. I mean, you can’t lose here. I’ve gotten so many things from VOA that have enhanced my life. Last month I bought a lawn chair and table for out on my patio and I repainted it and added some special touches and it’s been the funnest, cutest, and most functional project I’ve done in awhile. (Putting up pics of it after I write this post) I thoroughly enjoy it on a daily basis and the entire project cost me LESS THAN TEN DOLLARS! I know!!! I still can’t believe it! Anyways, great store, employees are awesome and very helpful and it’s all for an even greater cause. If you like thrifting, it’s the place to go!

Volunteers of America's 50% off last Tuesday of the month sale is tremendous! The staff is always accommodating and kind. They actually serve you with a smile. We've never had a negative experience. There's good selection of clothing and many other items Including furniture that are 50% off everything in the store. We love it!

Love the fact of being able to find the little things that make me happy that I want to add to my collection. The employees are awesome & friendly. The place is clean and kept well stocked. And what else is totally Awesome is that Big sale that is on the last Tuesday of the month. EVERYTHING and I do mean Everything In the store is HALF OFF. Love this store

I love this place. Although the selection for the toys is small, you can find some awesome stuff here. The glassware is nice and I've seen some cool knick knacks there as well as some unique stuff. I actually got a couple of John Grisham books here the last time I was here and they have other good books. The clothing isn't always organized but it's got a great selection too. I got some good shirts the last time I was here, and they have okay pants too.

Great store. The salvation army at corunna rd has gotten too pricey and one day they would not let me buy the items I picked out because they didn't think the price was overpriced enough even though they put the tags on the items in the first place which was bizarre.
With that being said, it made me appreciate this thrift all the more. I have never had a bad experience there(hopefully it stays that way), their items are reasonably priced and I never leave empty handed. This will be my go to thrift store from now on 🙂

Left a 5 star review 2 years ago and i would leave another to.this day. For 101 bucks i bought my oldest a whole dresser full of new clothes that were actually pretty new. Literally in mens small and mediums. And a couple sleds and some toys under 5. Even found myself a new winter coat for 10 bucks. All equaled 101 bucks. Fantastic.

I love shopping here! They always have sales and deals. The lighting is bright and pleasant. The dressing rooms aren't so amazing, but they get the job done. Overall, I really enjoy coming here

Love this place! Not your typical "thrift" store - neat, clean, smells great! All "like" items are displayed together by color, then size. So, if I'm looking for ladies brown dress pants, I would go to women's section, then find "better pants", then brown then find my size. So easy to figure out cute outfits that coordinate! And the clothes ALL have a "clean-clothes" smell. Not perfumey, but no smoke or sweat smells. The folks here are big on being helpful and giving true customer service!

I frequent this thrift store a lot. I can always find great deals on clothing, housewares and electronics. The store looks awesome since it’s been renovated. The staff is friendly and I’ve never had a bad shopping experience. I would recommend to others to check it out, you never know what you may find! 👍🏽

I love the Volunteers of America & Their Workers & Employees are friendly too.. Vanessa is one of the great Cashiers here. She is kind & friendly & Remembers her Regular Customers too. At The Volunteers of America there are thousands of Items to choose from or get. They have their different Colors of Tags to Represent 50% & 75 % a Day & Week. Taken aff the Price on that Itema or Clothing. There are a Variety & Great Selection of a little bit of Everything & Anything. The Prices are Reasonable too for the most part. I Shop here Regularly. It fits my little Income Budget . I go here when I really need Something. I take my Relatives to Shop here too. And The Volunteers of America helps People & Families & Helps Veterans too. And I love helping Great Causes when I can. Even if it's " Just Rounding Up My Total Amount Spent To The Next Dollar. " Like the Volunteers of America Thrift Store Does. Or sometimes if I can I give a Dollar. I wish sometimes that I could give more. But, I Ship here. And help that way too . And Support them this way. Plus, I Advertise for them.
