Settling in at their new location right in the middle of the downtown strip in Plainfield! Amazing staff, great vibe inside, awesome lighting and decor.. got this totally rad quasi industrial modern art studio thing going on!

Great selection of new and used records in all genres for all ages and tastes.. classic rock, thrash, metal, alternative, pop, rap, hip-hop, country, singer-songwriter, folk, blues, soul, jazz and more.

As an enthusiast/collector I can assure you they know the market, their pricing is on-point and the condition of their premium used vinyl is always top notch.

Other major pluses: they host RSD’s (Record Store Day) and listening events pretty regularly, owner is active/great at communicating with customer base on IG with new arrivals, events and special offers. if you don’t see it; ask, he can prob get it and they offer a stamp card for big additional savings on used vinyl.

Hands down my favorite record store for events, for some music conversation, listen to some great tunes and grab a few records for the collection!

I stopped in with my son (12 yrs old) and a friend for the first time. The store had an incredible vibe. It's super clean, organized, and has plenty of room to walk around. Not only did we find what we were looking for, but we also found great conversation as well. Pricing seemed fair, and a HUGE selection compared to other vinyl stores around. On the way home, my son said, "Dad, the owner of that place was super nice and that was the best record store we've been in." To which I responded, "Totally agree...we'll go back soon!"

I went to Left 'Round for a Black Pumas release listening party a couple of months ago. John, the owner, was super generous. We listened to the album a couple of times as I browsed the collection. I spent 2 hours in the store before the album could be released. He has a hip hop section that was intriguing. I was impressed with the quantity of Mac Miller albums, in particular. Since then, my wife went in there to get a recommendation on buying me a new turn table, which was a FANTASTIC recommendation. I haven't been able to make it to the new location yet but I have some albums on my short list that I need to add to my collection. The owner is great. The collection is extensive. And I'm excited to see them get more foot traffic in Downtown Plainfield. Can't recommend enough for novice or experienced vinyl enthusiasts alike.

Discovered an amazing record shop in Plainfield with a standout selection of jazz vinyl. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The shop is well-organized, separating new and used records, making browsing a breeze. Found some great records and will definitely return. A gem for vinyl enthusiasts!

This was a very well organized record shop. I also appreciated that there was some thought on what they took in, so you didn't have to dig and dig to find the treasure. That is just my personal preference (my husband is a digger) it was clean and smelled nice, and the staff were super friendly. They even had some vintage video games there. Along with cds, cassettes, and some laser discs.

Left 'Round is my favorite record store in Will County! The owners are super friendly and are always quick to answer any questions. This place is always my first stop if I'm doing Record Store Day. I love that they have a large new vinyl sections. The prices I've seen on items have been really fair as well.

I’ve really enjoyed my visits (and purchases) as of late at Left’ Round Records. It’s my new go to. Very clean, a great selection, and the owner John is super cool! Just stopped in his new location in downtown Plainfield for the first time, wonderful!

What a great shop. Records galore in great shape. Huge selection and organized well. Much more than vinyl… tapes, CDs, games and some shirts as well. Picked up one album for my collection and I am sure I’ll be back. The owner is very nice. What a fun place to browse, discover and reminisce.

This store has a moderately sized but comprehensive jazz section. I Immediately found records I could not find elsewhere, like Walter Wanderly and Cal Tjader. The music playing in store was not ear bleeding loud nor offensive. It was a nice experience.

First time going here and definitely will be going back. Big selection and organized super well. Prices were fair for the selections that I picked up. Plus the owner was super nice too!

There are so many records to choose from! They are all organized by genre which made it easy to find the records I wanted. I bought 3 and they were packaged nicely. I know some record shops have a lot of used records, but this place didn't which I appreciated. The only negative is I wish they had a pop section, and more newer artists available to choose from. Other than that, I have nothing else negative to say. I will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful and knowledgeable owner. Prices are generally pretty competitive and condition of the records are almost always pristine. I would suggest this shop for anyone from beginner collectors, as there is plenty of standards, and also for people who have been collecting for years as there is always something unique to find. Thank you!!!
