Food Lion

We shop here before going up the mountain. What blows my mind is the Meat department. They have more meat than I've seen anywhere else and its prices are great. The store is an older model store but they keep everything stocked and very clean.

Had a pretty good time today. Everything was stocked which it usually is. Prices are high but that's expected, but if you're a smart shopper and have the MVP card, you can come out of there fairly well ,the store was clean. Bathrooms clean. The workers were very friendly and overall and enjoyable experience for somebody who hates going shopping.

Midsized grocery yet has everything you need at reasonable prices. Very clean and well stocked. Employees are very friendly and professional.

Food lion is my go to grocery store. Always clean, the stickers and cashier's are always friendly and very helpful. The lady in the bakery is awesome, you will not be disappointed. The children's shopping carts are also a huge hit with our kiddos.

They had everything we needed and more here stocked and ready to go. The prices are about average for grocery stores, but the experience with the customer service was fantastic. I recommend if you need some of the basic necessities or are looking for a quick bite!

Very clean store, friendly employees, smiling happy local. Grizley very sweet and helpful cashier. Made us feel welcome and not tourists.

Very nice grocery store with a lot of friendly helping staff. It wasn't crowded when I went. They were very quick with checkout. Good fresh produce, and good looking meats. They have a good selection of products, but not always everything you might need. This is our go-to grocery store in Ellijay.

Always plenty of cash registers open.

I love food lion. They are the only place I can find the sweet tart sours. My son loves them. Amazon sells them for $13 plus. For one bag. It's only four something here. Only thing I wish is they'd get a fresh meat and seafood section. But I get it.

Clean grocery store with good prices and friendly staff.

I moved to this area 2 years ago. The staff is always very helpful and friendly in all depts. Jason in particular (meat department) has gone above and beyond to help me several times. I usually buy whole foods, not many processed foods, so I have always found their selection to be good . I definitely like their meat dept better than Ingles or Walmart.

They've done a nice renovation to this store. The employees are great, especially the woman who I usually see on checkout in the mornings. Their produce selection is good for a small, "country" grocery store. They also have a lot of organic options throughout the store. Their wine prices could be a bit better, but whatever. I love the plants they have for sale outside - they are good quality and cheaper than going to Lowes. I rarely have to wait to checkout, and their discount club is a good deal. Skip the expensive tourist grocery store and stop by Food Lion!

Small town grocery store, saves money compared to shopping elsewhere

Shopping Food Lion is great and it has changed but for the best. Shelf's are always stocked and meat counter clean and well stocked. Staff is always friendly and will help you in any way.Good variety of all foods. Be sure and check-out the produce section. It's great.

They fiod prices are great on meat helps a lot during our inflation

First time in. Better selection and prices than what I expected. You have to have a member card to get the sale price on item's, but they don't sign you up in store. You have to download the app and create an account. I didn't know this until checking out, but the cashier Madeline totally came thru for me and entered her card number. Also, upon beginning to return my cart to the buggy corral outside, an employee swooped in and took it for me. Great customer service all around.

This place was in the perfect place, and I needed a couple of cases of water. Some groceries, too. Pop in and out, great prices.
