Always a friendly face there; and I had the best vegetarian omelet in ages made by a cook with a great attitude (Anna) she said that she had never made one before, but she said she would give it a try.

The best cheeseburger in Ellijay! Yes. You may have to drive way out onto Hwy 52 close to BJ Reese Apple Orchard to get it. But, I'm telling you it's worth it! Old country store full of nostalgia and hand dipped ice cream. You just don't see this type of store anymore. The kiddos will think they've stepped back in time. The staff is happy to please. Tina, runs the register and is sweet as she can be. Just a little history about the place. Y'all remember Jr Samples from Hee Haw, the used car salesman? Call BR-549. His grandson use to actually own this little country store. Go check them out.

Stopped by on my way into the mountains. They have all the basics covered, fuel, food & a small diner that serves pretty good food. Awesome customer service. My new go to stop when I’m in the area.

Crossroads has been a family must visit for many years. Ryals and the Team are truly part of the community and his active support of Veterans is very much appreciated. Delicious burgers!

My wife picked up a couple breakfast sandwiches and various salads for dinner later in the day…. The breakfast sandwiches were great! Homemade biscuits, egg, cheese, peppers and onions…. The nice lady even wrapped the tomatoes up separate so we wouldn’t end up with a mushy biscuit! The salads….. VERY GOOD! We tried tuna, egg, smoked salmon and jalapeño pimento cheese…. We were just passing through town but if we lived there we’d be frequenting Crossroads!! Thank you!!

I love this place for everything it is!

Great food and great people!! Outstanding sandwiches with the meats smoked on site. Ask what was smoked today and try it.........you won't be disappointed!! Great ice cream too!

6 months later and have been back several times! The smoked turkey continues to impress and paired with the jalepeno pimento cheese spread.......WOW!! Smoke salmon spread was also fantastic and a struggle to pick between that and the turkey!

Don't forget about the ice cream. Really a good brand and very fun, unique flavors. Try the Jacked Up Tennessee Toffee if you like that kind of stuff..........so good!! Still 5 stars!!

The food was always excellent the one brisket I had was prepared by the most amazing woman and I have never had a sandwich so delicious. The people are amazing. The cashiers were always able to make my day seem brighter!

It was recently bought out by new owners, but the place is even better in my personal opinion, they now sell beer, and the kitchen still uses all the old family recipes of the previous owners mother. The food here is amazing and should be tried by everyone. My only problem is they close way to early, 7pm, and they are closed on Sunday's.

Yes, this looks like a normal gas station.
The food is amazing. My family stopped in here after leaving a local farm and wanting some lunch.
Everything was great, brisket sandwich, meatball sandwich, philly cheese steak, oh and ice cream is awesome too.
If you are in this area, check this place out.

One complaint (I don't believe in demerits for one small issue, no place is perfect!)

There is constant frustrations with one another amidst the kitchen staff, and it shows. Lack of communication between employees limits availability with what's on the menu. Sarah forgot to order this, Janie forgot to prep that, etc.

I know the work these ladies put into the food they sale, but some of the price per lb can be laughable. $8/lb for slaw, potato salad, etc. It is good stuff though!

I know it seems like I'm harping a bit much for 5 stars, but I throughly enjoy each visit and though it breaks the bank and I'll probably never get to try the salmon salad ($28lb) I will always return.

I am living at Campsite accross the street while my home is being built, so I go there a LOT! The food is excellent as well as the service. They have incredible ice cream with 16% butter fat which tastes incredible. The pizza is probably the best in the area and they have an awesome selection of sandwiches (I recommend their brisket). It is so much more than the outside would reflect. Riles is the owner and he's a cool guy and he's going out of the way to help give people a great service including me on more than a few occasions. If you're coming to pick apples or driving by Ellijay it's a must stop.

This place gasoline without the corrosive additive that weakens its power and damages engines called ethanol. It is right opposite what is now called Mack Aaron's. So when my wife and I are in the area, we like to fill up here. Closer to home, ethanol-free fuel is hard to find or has an outrageous mark-up.

Since our last visit, they have installed new pumps; previously they had very old-fashioned ones, which are still there but now there are signs pointing to the new ones.

Not like the pictures, they have alot of stuff including alcohol. Got our stuff for camping here

This place has basic provisions AND they are so accommodating and friendly!! We were just coming through for the weekend. Got eggs, milk, Gatorade, bread, homemade chicken salad, coffee, snacks... it worked out perfect.

We love this place. We take our grandchildren to eat here instead of Mcdonalds. Owner is usually there making sure everything is to your liking. Laid back and reminds us of years gone by.

We were visiting Ellijay and stopped in for lunch. My husband and I had a burger and fries. The food was so good and the people were polite! Such a cute little lunch spot! :)
