Awesome way to bring in our stay! MA was spectacular. She new just how to pair each drink. And was so excited to show her favorites off. Amazing place. Patricia was super quick to help and let us taste everything we asked to try. Penalties the sweetest woman in Tennessee! If you want to stop at a nice, respectful place and of course taste some of the best whiskey in Tennessee stopping here is a must!

Very friendly and funny lady!! Made to feel welcome from the time we walked in. Products were good. Did the free tasting and bought a couple bottles.

Patricia assisted us and she was fantastic! She was knowledgeable about all of the products and about what mixes well with others! She had a great sense of humor and the location is perfectly clean and inviting. We are very happy with our purchases and will be ordering from there until we head back to the Smokies!

I had such a fun time here a few weeks ago and nearly forgot to leave a review. Luckily Bonnie who was helping from another location sent me home with a review card and she made such an impression on me I still remember her name weeks later so thankfully she will get the recognition she deserves also. Me and my crew from work found TLD and decided to stop for a sampling and let me tell you, all 8 samples were some of the best I've had. I prefer the whiskey to the moonshine but that's a personal preference not a reflection of their product. The salted Carmel, the peach, and some of their mixers were unforgettable. We stopped to get the assassins creed bottles and left with much more. The shop is quaint, the whiskey is smooth and flavorful, and if the rest of the staff is half as wonderful as Bonnie than you will have such a great time stopping in.

Friendly staff, really helpful. Moonshine tasted good. Check out the coffee and peanut butter cup flavors. I was happy enough with their bourbon. Pricing was pretty good, checkout the coupon books outside for a coupon for free shot glasses with purchase.

Also, because this isn’t Pigeon Forge, or Gatlinburg, don’t expect the tourist crowds, which was a definite plus!!!

Always stop to see Patricia on our way into Tennessee she is awesome at her job always let's us know what has changed or is new. We seem to always leave with a new flavor plus the trusty ones we always loved. Also picked the legends decanter and glasses has to be my favorite one so far and it is of high quality glass

So we were planning a vacation from Philadelphia. Driving of course. Trying to figure out where we should go. We're looking at Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. And figured we'd stay in Newport, VA - under 30 minute drive, away from all the traffic in downtown Pigeon Forge. We've been there before and it's an awesome place. But we weren't sure. So I'm checking out the area and what do I find? TENNESSEE LEGEND DISTILLERY. We've been buying our favorite Moonshine - Hammershine online for a over a year now from a vendor. Sort of expensive but it's worth it. And our Hammershine was there, at Tennessee Legend Distillery. Well that was it. When we found that, sealed the deal. Booked our hotels and off we went. We saw the small chapel online too for "drive-thu I'do's" and after 15 years of living with each other we figured let's get married. Got married, then right to Tennessee Legend! Mallory and Patricia were AWESOME! Store was clean, lots to check out. What a great trip! Beautiful drive, beautiful area, got married and moonshine. What more can a girl ask for! See you again soon. We bring all our out of state visitors here. Patricia(Ma) is an outstanding employee. Every single time we go there, we always get the same outstanding service. She goes above and beyond for the customer. To top it off, their cream liquors are delicious! So thank you, Ma, for making us feel so welcomed!

Me & my husband brought back home about 4 bottles of liquor. This one is my favorite! Mixed with coffee is bomb! So yummy paired with dessert.

If you stay or vacation near Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg and enjoy whisky or the occasional shot. Stop by the Tennessee Legend Distillery. There are so many great options it’s a great thing they allow you to sample multiple bottles before you buy. If you get the privilege of having Patricia as your guide you are in luck, she is knowledgeable and an absolute delight for conversation.

First time here. Came back from Busch Baked Beans factory. Stopped here to check it out. Great idea. We had a blast. Laura was awesome. Whiskey was good and their version of white lightning was sooooo smooth. Very reasonably priced, especially compared to some of the more notable whiskey distilleries in the area that are more geared towards tourists. Would definitely recommend.
Side note: down the street from the distillery is a small barbecue roadside smoke shop. Best BBQ I have ever had. Was a great place to stop after the tasting. Can't wait to go back.

Crystal was an excellent sample gal, friendly and knowledgeable about all of their products..enjoyed my visit and will be coming back..Support local businesses..

The samples were excellent. The salt Carmel moonshine was very good. Root beer cream liqueur was also very good. Left the place with several bottles.

Stopped in on the way back from camping in the Smokies and so glad we did. Aside from the amazing selections and free samples the service and staff are outstanding. We had a blast! The only downside was finding room in the car for the multiple bottles and jars we left with!

Tennessee Legend Distillery.. all I can say is YUMMMMY. Ma was such a fabulous host, and recommended what she liked the most. She went step by step explaining how the Distillery came to be, and how they made the shine so tasty! Pleasant and sweet, her energy can't be beat. We did some taste testing to start, that's when we added to our cart. Any flavor sweet or sour, will leave you feeling warm hour to hour. Great distillery spot, come take a shot! Thank you for such a great time Ma- you're the best we've had, leaving you and this beautiful state made us sad! Til we meet again my friend!
