I hope everyone that decides to leave a review reads this first! Before you sit here and complain about “attitudes” and “long wait times” consider this… pharmacies across the nation are so short staffed. Why? Because we are in unprecedented times! Vaccines, testing, major increase in the amount of meds being filled due to covid. Also due to covid….staff are catching it, which in turn creates an even bigger staffing issue. There is only one immunizer per shift, who has to do shots, still sell prescriptions, fill prescriptions, put up the order, run drivethrough, do testing, everything. Pharmacists (one per shift)hardly ever get a break. The amount of tasks that just keep getting added to an already short staff continues to grow. So before you come on here and complain “oh I had to wait! Oh she has an attitude” take a step back and put yourselves in their shoes. They are trying their best to care for you, and instead of treating them as human beings, you treat them as a “service” and when that service can’t be delivered for WHATEVER reason, you take the steps to make them feel worse than they already do. They are burnt out, overworked and underpaid. Stop making their lives a living hell because you had to “wait” or were slightly inconvenienced. Have compassion and understanding. Things will get better, but you as customers, guests, HUMANS, have to help!

First you must be patient and expect a wait because they are simply overworked by the sheer number of people using this location for their needs. If you can wait for your meds they usually can get them to you by the close of business if they get the prescription before noon. Otherwise it’ll be the next day. Not a immediate need place like getting pain meds for an injury, surgery or dental work.

I feel bad giving them 1 star because I have been a small business owner and know how reviews affect business. However, though I don’t normally ever leave bad reviews, I feel that corporate needs to send help!

I’ve been here a few times since it’s closest to my house and every time something bad happens. I always give people the benefit of the doubt and I really don’t like negative confrontation, but the first time I went here I was in a hurry to get a print, (it was a photo of a label, not asking to “print a label” just pick up my photo) and we somehow were not on the same page that I just wanted to pickup the picture I sent in and already paid for, that just happened to be a label for the package I was dropping off. Then I went in to return a medical supply I didn’t use, the employee seemed to struggle with the return and in store credit. Came back to use the in store credit and the system only used 1/3 of the balance after she first said they was no balance…she made me feel as if it was my problem and I could check my transactions from the info on the back of the card. I did, I also have the receipt that says the card has 3 times as more then what we t through. Not saying it was the cashiers problem, probably a system error or the type of return idk but the fact that I was made to feel like It was my fault and needed to figure it out myself was a bit daunting.

I hope I was just unlucky 3 times but based on everyone’s mood there every time I go in, I don’t think I’m the only one that experiences issues. 😬

I didn’t think that a Walgreens pharmacy could be worse than the Vintage Park location that used to be near me. Well, this one is worse. They never have medication available and they have horrible attitudes. I got a notification that my medication sent in from my Dr. was delayed. It said the same thing the next day. I called and the lady say’s I’m showing that it will be ready in 20 minutes. I said it says that it’s delayed. She says no ma’am it will be ready in 20 minutes. I’m clearly looking at the status that says delayed and I took a screenshot. They are seriously off.

Update: I have now visited this pharmacy several times And it’s even worse. I have had to wait over an hour several times, and been told that prescriptions are ready when they are not. I waited in the drive-through over an hour after receiving a call that my prescriptions were ready to be told that they are not and will not be for hours. This pharmacy is literally horrible. I’ve never seen anything like it. I’m going to drive to a location farther away, or change to CVS just so that I don’t have to deal with them. Don’t bother.

Throughout the times I’ve been there, my experiences have been good.. but tonight, I just felt like I had time to express these concerns. Starting with the cashier.. the greeting was for sure a sign of a bad experience. The phone not next to drive up works fine, can hear but the one in front of the window has a volume issues or faulty connection. Either way it was hard to hear. The only way for me to understand was to read her lips but with such attitude shown on her face, I just tilt my head to better understand. Not only did I continue to be nice throughout the interaction but the pharmacist came on the line with such aggression while explaining the conditions of medication as it was hard to hear as well. At that point my smile turned into a concern and as I grab my items you can tell the conversation was about this interaction. Laughing about a customer who cannot hear you due to the speaker box raises concerns. Imagine having a hearing impairment and someone gives you attitude with aggression during your visit? Not sure if they’re having a bad day or that’s how you are in general, but you CHOOSE to work in this field with customers. I do hope tomorrow is a better day for you ladies!

Update: looking at these reviews, I would’ve thought the regional manager would get involve by now and on the road for improvements. I HOGHLY recommend!!

The worst pharmacy ever. They have lost my prescription multiple times and when they do have it, never have it ready in a timely manner. 2 days is unacceptable. Their lack of communication is astonishing and the staff is not friendly at all.

The two young girls that work in the pharmacy are the most rude people I have ever met. I waited on line for 10-15 minutes they saw me and didn’t even acknowledge me. Just kept walking around their little pharmacy area. Then a white person comes behind me and waited for less than a minute and they tell her “we will be right with you ma’am”. Seems pretty racist to me. I have worked customer service since 2017 and in healthcare and I don’t ever treat clients like that. They had a car in the drive thru waiting more than I was in line inside. These are the most unprofessional ladies and should not be working in healthcare or customer service.

Literally by far the absolute worse pharmacy I’ve ever gone to. I waited 45 min at the drive thru line and only 3 cars moved. This is ridiculous they need to do better. It seems their employees are asleep or something going on. Ain’t no reason why customers should have to wait in line that long for a prescription. Waste of time.

Waited for 27 hours for a prescription to be transferred! Waited and hour in the store and still received no medication for my 10 years old son! Don’t waste your time, take your business to Splendora Pharmacy where they are quick to fill prescriptions!!

Apparently there is a new employee by the name of Vanessa. She is EXTREMELY rude. EXTREMELY sarcastic. I'm calling to check on medication for my sick son and she keeps smacking her lips and hanging up on me. I called back and asked for a manager and she smacks her lips and hangs up AGAIN. She definitely doesn't need to work in customer service. After I pick up his medicine, I will be changing pharmacies ASAP.

Everything about Walgreens is an absolute joke from getting them to actually fill the prescription to the wait times of picking it up! Literally every single experience I’ve had with them there is an issue. Will never give them the benefit of the doubt again!

Worst. I came inside to drop off my 2 prescriptions. The lady was extremely rude and when I told her I would wait she told me to go home it would be 45 mins, I said calmly that’s ok I’m not in a hurry. Then she said if I wait it would be over an hour. So I said again calmly, that’s ok I don’t mind waiting. She is so angry, not sure why. After I waited and read my book for an hour eight outside the pharmacy I found out she didn’t put the orders in so they didn’t even know I had prescriptions. Why be that rude and petty? Now I’m having to wait another hour for it to be filled. And I stood in line both times, that lady rolled her eyes at several customers and was just plain rude to them for no reason. That’s the kind of person who doesn’t need to be working there. People need their prescriptions.

Lady shut the door in my face and said that they were closed but yet she let another customer walk in right before I walked up. The time was 9:58 all I needed was something simple for my bleeding dog. She also let the lady out and then let her back in to finish her transaction! If you close at 10 why shut the doors before 10. Not a good way to run a corporation!

First and last time going to this place. Took me over an hour for insurance verification and when I told them that ill paid for the medication they turned away from me and never came back. I never complained or say anything else. Waited! Waited and waited! After waiting for so long I decided to leave without my sons medication. I can’t believe how disrespectful and lack of compassion these people have to others.

I am fairly new to this area and have been meaning to write a review for some time now. I have been a customer of Walgreens for over 20 years and very loyal up until now. When I first moved to New Caney, I had all of my prescriptions transferred from the Walgreens in Spring Tx to the Walgreens in New Caney. Worst mistake ever. The other Walgreens locations have been great. The Walgreens in New Caney would get a zero stars if I could. The service was so unbelievably bad, I had to switch my pharmacy to the HEB in Kingwood and the prescriptions I couldn't transfer, I transferred them back to the Walgreens in Spring Tx. I'll make the drive.
I refuse to spend another second in that store. At this point, the Walgreens pharmacy in New Caney should completely shut down. There is no hope. The techs are extremely rude, impatient, and lazy. Every response is a negative response with no willingness to assist in any way. Bad energy is contagious. Their facial expressions and body language says it all. They have absolutely no sense of urgency and apparently hate their job, their life and everyone in it. Walgreens please fix this.
