Nice BBQ headquarters but sold out of fruit woods this time but tried some new lump coal and it was great. Blues Hog.

This place is the real deal, plenty of friendly knowledgeable help. Huge, diverse inventory...I drive a distance to frequent. Not the cheapest but certainly the best!

Ace really is the helpful place. I go into Ace Hardware a couple times a week for things I need for projects and they’re always so friendly and helpful to me. People call me by my name there, and when I have a question about anything they spend time to talk to me about it and don’t make me feel like I’m wasting any time. One might even say That there is a sense of community there. When compared to places like Home Depot, which is less expensive, Ace Hardware makes up for it in customer service one great example is last year I had a plumbing issue, and it was gonna cost me $350 to get it fixed by a plumber. But I went to Ace Hardware and talk to someone for like an hour in person and he showed me exactly what to do and for about $30 I got the job fixed. The world needs customer service for the likes of which we find at Ace Hardware. In a fast pace society where people are checking out their own items and self checkout lanes, and not being able to find good quality answers, and knowledge to their home-improvement questions, ace hardware stands out as a beacon of integrity which shines brightly through a cultural context of laziness and apathy towards compassionate communication. I want to give a special shout out to Mike, who has been working there for I think about seven years, he’s the best chain sharpener in River Falls.! also, Emily, Ethan, and if I could post pictures from my mind of peoples faces, I’d be able to give a shout out to all the staff, but I don’t have all their names memorized. I'm not much of a hardware store person, but they are typically very helpful & their prices seem okay. As to selection, well I'm the wrong one to ask.

The staff is always very friendly and willing to help you find whatever you're looking for.

I had to go in and try and find a adapter for my portable dishwasher. I ended up going twice because of how weird my faucet is. But these guys took the time to help me twice and was patient with me. Every single employee that I've met here is super nice and seems like they actually care about your issue. Best hardware store I've been to in a long time.

Needed to buy a chainsaw and working with Garrett was fantastic. He was very helpful and made our decision painless.

Have always had good experiences here. A little disappointed that it looks like they no longer do small engine repair except maybe Stihl equipment.

A double great experience! This morning I needed a pin thingie for my horse trailer but was guessing the size. The manager came out to check that we had the right size. Tonight my windshield wiper ripped and I stopped in and they had what I needed Plus the very nice young man put them on for me! It would have taken me a step stool and a half an hour! Thank you!

If you haven't experienced a locally-owned Ace you're missing out. Since moving to this area 8 years ago I have continued to be impressed and satisfied with the level of service, their patience with questions, and the commitment to standing behind their products. I'll continue to purchase any tools and small engine products I need from this store!
