El Potrero Market

They had the guajillo peppers I was looking for! They have a nice variety of products including meat, spices, produce and other items. It is a nice little store for foods for Mexican cooking.

Amazing! I really liked this place! I’ve been to several of this Latin markets and this one has been by far the best since it’s small, maybe I went late but there wasn’t many people so it’s not packed like Rancho Market, the beef and chicken looks amazing, haven’t cooked it but from what I see it should be really good and cheaper than other places. People are very nice there, they’re nos in a rush giving you your food… I just loved it! I will definitely go back (if the meat turns out to be as it looks to be)

They have really cute piggy banks for 19.99

The owners are awesome and so are their team members! Everything is fresh and clean! Always stocked and have a variety to choose from!!! The meat selection is amazing!!! I love this store!!

Great products and the Carneceria has ample options of meats and cuts. Love that I find lots of products from Mexico. Staff is nice. A bit of a tight squeeze when it's busy hours due to the small size of the place but it's OK.

This is our go-to Mexican market. It has everything you need, plus lots more fun and interesting finds, all in a cute little market. Great meat selection, with excellent pre-seasoned carne asada you can take home to grill. If you are English speaking only, don't be intimidated. Everyone here is friendly and helpful and you will have no problem communicating. Love these guys!

I just happened upon this store and I am SOOO glad I did!! I've been living in my place now for almost a year and thought the only market in the area was the La Palapa!! I am Soo glad I have choices for produce and regular baking and food sources! I am not Hispanic in a Hispanic community and finding my way around can be challenging with the language barrier.. I love this area and the multi cultural community! I was very impressed with this market! Love being able to find things from both cultures under 1 roof! The people that work here are great and attentive and I like that! Love El Potrero market and will be going back quite often!! Thank you El Potrero Market!!

I really have to acknowledge and tip my hat to the El Potrero Market in Midvale. They're an amazing local business! The people that work there are so nice and friendly. They have amazing things you can't find in grocery stores, and they have COPIOUS AMOUNTS OF TOILET PAPER.

I discovered this place looking for a place to buy good meat/chicken for dinner. I'm not familiar with UT or the location but needed something authentic. decided to try this place out. Bought the meats I was looking for and it did not disappoint. 5 stars, meat and chicken were delicious! :)

Love the new location of expansion of this store. The owner and the staff always have a smile and I appreciate that I don't feel like an outsider not speaking Spanish well. They're always there to help and you can't beat their selection of Mexican products to make those yummy recipes we all love.
