The Periwinkle Shoppe

Got lucky on a Sunday. The owner's mother was driving through town and saw me walking in front of the Beckham Hotel and invited us to come over. We had just been admiring the windows of the Periwinkle Shoppe, and making a note to come back on a day it would be open. I can't recommend this store enough. So many cute things. Tchotchkes, apparel, jewelry and gift items galore. So many price points and marvelous merchandising. Pure joy to shop and peruse.

How cool is this store? Loads of neat goodies in an old jewelry shop. I didn't catch the owner's name but she is SO SWEET, friendly, and open to people looking. She's preserved many historic elements from the former jewelry store. Please go check her store out, there's something for everyone & you will enjoy being there.

My wife and I stumbled into this shop one Sunday afternoon, was excited to see anyone open. The owner was really nice and the products weren't overpriced. We found quite a bit we enjoyed.
