Best Western Mineola Inn

When we first arrived, we thought the AC didn't work but a quick call to the front desk and she told us how to work it. Service was on point at all hours and for whatever we needed during our week long stay. THANK YOU LADIES!
The breakfast was good and the options gave us a decent variety so we didn't feel the need to eat elsewhere at all. My kiddos LOVED the Texas shaped DIY waffles! Very cute.
The pool was very small and I was disappointed that the hot tub wasn't available but the kids were happy enough to burn off that extra energy before bed. The small workout room was well stocked with extra towels and easy to get to for pool towels, too.
We never used it, but they also had a small concession area stocked with soups and snacks for purchase.

Has a great stay for first time in a Best Western. Bed was my only issue due to it being too soft for my liking. Everything else from staff to room to breakfast was spot on. Overall great hotel

This place should get a 100 ☆ review!!! They have been very helpful and extremely nice. They went did everything they could to help me and my daughter out... I can't thank the staff enough for going beyond their job to help us out. The place is very clean and room is spacious. We are able to relax and get some much needed time away.. thank you for everything and breakfast is awesome.

Shout out to Terra. She went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and welcoming. The cleaning staff was so polite and concerned about my comfort. Kudos Shonna. They only thing I would suggest is the bathroom tissue is awful.

WHAT HAPPENED!!!
Upon check in, I requested a 1st floor room and Jordon told me flat out NO! I asked about military discount and she flat out told me NO! I told her I have a pet and she told me NO DOGS. I've stayed here with my dog before. She was extremely snippy, condescending, and RUDE!!! When I told her I have a dog, she literally rolled her eyes. If this was my 1st stay here, I would have walked out. Jordan is NOT a good representation of this hotel or Best Western. She needs some serious customer service training and counseling!
As a former employee of a Best Western and a loyal customer, her behavior should NOT be tolerated.

Very good hotel. It looks like it has been remodeled recently. Beds were comfortable and everything was clean and not run down. Would definitely stay here again.

These rooms were so clean. Customer service was so great at the front desk. We came in late around 1:00 as all three of my children 10, 2 and 1 were melting from exhaustion. I wasn't skeptical about anything when I walked in that room the smell was amazing everything looked renovated. The layout was very modern and practical. Small town but I will go back.

The staff is awesome. The front desk person Terra is great. The housekeeping is great. I will stay here again,and I will recommend this hotel to family and friends.

This palce is exactly where you want to be after a rough day. I had a funeral to attend and was exhausted and down. Not only did these ladies make me smile with their friendly smiles and awesome personalities but they were so very helpful. The hotel is far better than other of its chain I stayed in the night before. It was an amazing difference and I greatly appreciated it. They really make you feel like your home away from home.

Very clean room and grounds. Family run hotel, super friendly and helpful. I'm sure it's not easy to run a hotel during a pandemic - this family has it down. Good location, easy in and out of parking lot. Quiet - no highway noise. I've enjoyed my stay and will definitely stay again if I'm back in the area. Mineola is a cute little town.

Stayed the night here before visiting family in nearby Quitman. Spacious room, great shower, friendly desk staff. Breakfast better than the average hotel. In the morning after checking out, we were still loading the car when the cleaning staff came running out with our deli meats we'd forgotten in the refrigerator. It was a small thing, sure, but it stuck with me; I've left stuff in a hotel 'fridge before and no one has ever brought it out to me. Will stay here again next time we're in the area.

Last hotel with room available, but made the trip just a bit easier being able to plug in overnight. Low power, but definitely something! Would have been much more worth it if I'd have stayed longer.

Our overnight in this motel was lovely! Our room was well-appointed and clean.
The bed was sooooo comfortable!
We were on a very tight timetable and the chaos of the DFW airport, never mind the fiasco of the Hertz Rental experience, melted away in the bed.
YES! We were tired, AND the bed was THAT comfortable!
Our nerves were rather raw, AND the bed was THAT comfortable!
Our room surpassed our minimum hope of at least "a decent place to sleep" and we were blessed with BLISSFUL, RESTFUL SLEEP.

SUGGESTIONS:
CHECKED IN 4/27 AND WENT TO GET IN THE SHOWER AND FOUND A CURLY BLACK HAIR ON THE WALL. THE TUB WAS VERY SLIPPERY. LUCKLY WE KNEW WHERE THE LOCAL WALMART WAS SINCE WE USE TO LIVE IN THE AREA & BOUGHT A SLIP PROOF MAT FOR INSIDE THE TUB. I THINK THAT BEST WESTERN SHOULD OFFER THOSE TO THE GUESTS ON REQUEST OR JUST PUT THEM IN EVERY BATH TUB IN EVERY ROOM? WHATEVER IS EASIER. I MEAN IF SOMEONE FALLS, BEST WESTERN IS AT LIABILITY, THAT'S JUST A LAWSUIT WAITING TO HAPPEN!

ALSO.. PUT IN REAL PLASTIC SHOWER CURTAINS! THOSE CLOTH SHOWER CURTAINS THEY HAVE UP, WATER JUST WENT RIGHT THROUGH IT AND FLOODED OUR BATHROOM ON NIGHT 1!

ALSO.... MAYBE MIX / CHANGE UP BREAFAST UP A LITTLE?

ITS THE SAME THINGS DAILY: SAUSAGE, EGG, GRAVY, BISCUTS, BAGELS, MUFFINS, COFFEE, JUICE, CEREAL, WAFFLES, YOGURT, OATMEAL.

It is truly wonderful seeing the owner in the halls, front desk, cleaning and being friendly. Occupants, please be patient because it is very hard to find good help in this town. The owner is sincere and has a big heart for her guests!

A really nice property, & overnight experience. I had absolutely no complaints of any kind (well, the toilet was a bit low for an old person!). If you're visiting around Mineola, this is THE place to stay. Good value for the money, very good breakfast, & the staff are very friendly & helpful.

Breakfast was small but tasted good. Beds and pillows were great!! Tv was good for the time we watched. Bathtubs are slippery so be careful.

great place overall, easy in and out parking lot wise, close to freeway but not loud, room was clean and comfortable, no view to speak of as our room overlooked the back yard of someones home with broken fence laying on the ground, overall was good, bed was real squeeky when you rolled over but did not affect our stay.
