The awesome team here made my fishing license purchase quick, easy, & enjoyable. The staff was knowledgeable about fishing products & tips. I appreciated their friendliness. It was honestly no line, no wait. I will certainly shop this store again.

This is a great venue that is clean and designed to have a great seat no matter where you are. The food was good, but a little pricey. The staff was friendly and personable in the Pearl River Resort sponsored sitting area.

Purchased a firearm online for store pickup. The personnel working the sporting goods desk were incredibly professional and personable. Had a great time waiting for the background check to complete and got to hear some hilarious stories about the type of characters they deal with in the same scenario. Was in and out in a little over a half hour!

Was in and out, knowing what I was looking for. The store was very neat and clean, everything in its place which made shopping easy. Was able to get my birthday gifts and leave within 15 to 20 minutes. The young lady at the register was super nice and friendly. Made shopping a pleasure.

Super friendly associates, but two cash registers open on the 20th of December, while other employees are folding shirts? You need more cashiers open. At least 25 people, we're standing in each checkout line

Couldn't find my reciept to do the actual survey, so I'm gonna,more or less, do it here. Store is great and all that stuff, but my guy Roy behind the gun counter is the best. Friendly, knowledgeable, and was able to handle a large crowd like a boss. Keep it up, you guys.

Really great store. Went by with a friend. They had everything he was looking for and more. Their selection of ammunition was pretty good. I felt like some of the prices were high though. Overall it's still a great little store and everyone was willing to help when we needed it.

Lovely, we found what we needed with ease. I do not normally shop here unless it's for gun related stuff. They have reasonable prices on their guns and ammunition. I'll be back soon to purchase a 380

I called before going. The staff was very professional, patient and helpful. They told me exactly where the items I wanted were located. I went straight there once I get to the store. I was not in there more than 10 minutes

The store is very very clean. You have plenty of employees working and making themselves visible in case I needed help or assistance with any item. They had some good sales going on, and I was able to find a good deal on a pair of athletic shorts which I desperately needed. In the checkout line, the lines were kind of long; however, they had three lanes open and all of the cashiers were more than qualified and ushered the people through the lines in a very, very quick pace. There's nothing you can do if you're busy. If you're busy, you're busy.I don't mind waiting in line especially when I see the line moving very quickly and that there was a manager or key holder that was standing nearby in the middle of all three of the registers that way in case there was a problem that person would be right there to fix it or to address it. I cannot speak highly enough of the staff at Academy Sports and Outdoors in Trussville.

Staff was very helpful in facilitating return of jeans that did not fit properly.
They also helped place an online order since they did not have in stock the correct size needed.
This resulted in finding a sale price and savings !

Was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when I came in asking about purchasing my first firearm.
