Xenia shoe and leather is the best red wing boot shopping experience I have ever had.The staff took there time and fitted me with the perfect size .They explained all the options and ordered me the exact boot that I wanted.The staff is friendly and very knowledgeable about all the red wing boots.I felt like I was hanging out with some of my buddies. They make you feel like you are the most important person to ever walk through the door ,not just another sale.no pressure.They remembered me when I came back and as I was leaving they even gave me a red wing hat .They made my day.I’ll never shop anywhere else for all my work boots.I highly recommend stopping in and experiencing there expert costumer care.

Outstanding service & cost.

The stitches across the top of my wife's favorite purse were coming loose & she asked me if I knew of a business that could repair it.

The zipper on my pedal board bag was also in need of repair.

I had seen Xenia Shoe & Leather while driving through downtown and took both items to see if they could be fixed. No problem, I was told.

I asked if I could pick them both up on Fri? They were done in about an hour! The total cost was only $18 plus tax!

Incredible job reworking my boots. They replaced everything below the upper. Fresh welt and all new leather soles and heel stack with Vibram rubber. Very good work. Will be back.

I needed to get the heels of my boots redone. Staff was courteous and easy to work with. They said it would be done in a week and sure enough, it was ready when I went to pick them up. Very pleased with how they look! You can’t tell that the heels have been redone. :) I definitely recommend.

Great customer service and great quality leather work! I had gussets added to 2 pairs of tall riding boots and they fit like a glove!! They replaced the zippers as well.

Resole thurogood boot installed redwing dual density sole should wear better cleaned and oiled stitching is great top notch work

Amazing store! They carry beautiful shoes and socks, and their customer service is excellent! They measured my feet to find the perfect size boots and had lots of good tips and advice about what to get for my mountain hiking trip. I got Vasque boots and some Darn Tough, Smartwool and Injinji socks. The staff were knowledgeable and very friendly. They have an awesome clearance section. 10/10. I will skip the big box stores any day and support this gem of a small business!

The staff here are amazing! From cleaning a leather motorcycle jacket, to rebuilding my Birkenstock sandals, they’re great!

Also bought some Chaco sandals and initially was hesitant about the price. I’m glad I bought them and have used them more than I thought I would. Extremely high quality sandals.

Go to the shop, you won’t be disappointed.

This was my first time in the shop even though I’ve lived here most of my life. What an amazing experience! I was wanting to purchase a pair of Birkenstocks and thought why not support local. I usually don’t enjoy shopping in person much anymore as customer service seems to be an all time low at many stores. My experience was quite the opposite. They were very helpful , knowledgable and patient with me while I decided which pair would be the best fit and style for me. Thank you Xenia Shoe & Leather, I will be a returning customer!

This store deserves 5 stars. Everything a leather store should be. Did an outstanding job repairing my leather jacket. Affordable, quality and excellent customer service. Good assortment of products. We should be supporting this small business. I live 40 min away and will definitely make the drive again and again.

I have never done business with Xenia Shoe & Leather prior to today. I am overjoyed with the service I received from them. It was truly a Christmas miracle! They had the shoes I wanted to gift someone in stock, in that color & size, and because I was going to receive them after Christmas their customer service truly went ABOVE and BEYOND and I was able to get them the same day!!! I am so beyond thankful. I’d recommend this place to anyone and everyone. I have never left a review for anything, but I couldn’t let this deed be done without any praise!

Visited here because my boyfriend needed some help reshaping some leather slippers. They gave him some good advice and even something to put in his shoe. They have a great selection of boots that I will be returning to buy before the winter weather.

Xenia Shoe & Leather saved my sole! (🤓) They did an amazing job repairing my beloved Vibram Maioris, and just in time for my surfing/fishing excursion!

The true test was taking them in, around, on and under the water. I've taken them out every day for the past six days and they've held perfectly. I can't thank this staff enough for their exemplary work!

I asked them to fix a part of a saddle for my horse. They did an excellent job and the price was very reasonable. I could not be happier with the result. Excellent customer service.

I can’t recommend this place enough. I’ve had my pair of dress shoes for 4 years and the sole started to come off of both shoes. To get both of them fixed and polished was under 20 dollars. So much better than buying a new pair and took under 10 minutes. I will be a return customer here for life!

The store had some decent quality items as well. Lots of shoes, shoe polish and other accessories.

They did a awesome job on replacing my soles on my danner boots. They looked as good as new when I picked them up. I like them better then when they were new. The staff was very friendly and professional. Well organized store also. Will definitely use them again.

wow! finally getting the time to write this review after I went in to Xenia Shoe & Leather over the summer to work on my favorite pair of shoes. Steve Madden unfortunately no longer makes these shoes so when my boots started to get worn out, I started searching for options.

One option I found is a website that I could send my shoes in to repair, but they are very pricey (around $120 for repair service) and I would have had to pay extra to ship my shoes and wait extra time due to the delivery process. There is also a shoe repair shop near my house, but I read some reviews that made me nervous to go to them. When I found Xenia Shoe & Leather on google maps, I checked their website and felt a good & genuine impression by how they presented themselves. I contacted them and sent them photos of how my own shoes were currently and also sent them photos of how the same exact style, color, & brand of shoes look new (that I sourced from Google). These photos are included in this review; The example images sourced from Google are labeled as "BRAND NEW", the photos of my own pair before repair are labeled as "BEFORE REPAIR", and the photos of my own pair after Xenia Shoe & Leather repaired & worked on them are labeled as "AFTER REPAIR".

When I contacted them I first e-mailed them and didn't hear back, so I called them and they were very nice & were able to find my e-mail and the photos I sent them and we discussed the work that would be done to them. I am not very "leather savvy" and I mentioned that these shoes were more of a "soft, furry leather" and that they used to be a lighter tan/olive color when I bought them & they knew exactly what they needed and recommended just some scrubbing with a green scouring pad rather than the polishing service, which would have darkened them in color. They said it would only take them a DAY to do the service and that the total for the work would be $70.46 which was about $50+ cheaper than my other leading option was and they are within driving distance so I decided to go with them.

With these shoes being so special to me, I was really nervous to hand them off the anyone, but WOW, I am so happy I went with these folks! When I picked up my shoes I was SO impressed!! I seriously love these boots so much and they have been so comfortable and cute, it meant so much to me that they gave them new life and that I can keep wearing these amazing shoes. When I look at the before and after pictures I am so blown away and I made sure to save them so I could leave this review when I had the time, because they really deserve all the gold stars for being so nice and doing such fast & great work for such a fair price! 5/5 stars from me definitely! Highly recommend giving these folks a chance if you are in the same boat I was in and I hope this review helps! :)

Excellent service. Nice selection of shoes. And they have full shoe repair capabilities. They have repaired a couple of pairs of boots for me and did a great job with them. Highly recommend this place.
