Excellent service. My son just bought ski boots and has his bindings mounted on his ski's. The staff was super helpful and knowledgeable. The boot fitting service was excellent. He's very happy with the services provided.

Best place I've been to for boot fitting. Anthony at the shop was very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He did a heat mold on my boots when I bought them and found an aftermarket insole that worked for my wife's existing boots. Will definitely be back.

So I have to say, I was in customer service for 17 years, and this place is just amazing! Gary made me feel so at home, like I was talking to an old friend! Such amazing treatment, and would recommend this store to anyone who wants to be treated like family! A+++++

Really great customer service. The rental intake was also well organized and prevented crowding inside, which was a much more pleasant experience than other ski rentals I visited in the past.

Our rental car lost its battery just 5 minutes away from McAfee, and after explaining our situation, they were kind enough to send someone to pick up our rental equipment without charging anything extra. I really appreciated their willingness to do this for us, especially since we were stuck in a parking lot for 4 hours at that point.

Thank you McAfee for the excellent customer service. I highly recommend renting from McAfee, because you'll work with a team that not only understands your needs, but is willing to go above and beyond to help you.

I usually like to give 5 stars even if I’m not a 100% satisfied and write my concern in the comment so the owners can see it. At the end of the day they are running a business and I support that. Unless it is something absolutely unsatisfactory.

We rented equipment 2 days ago and everything was good and we had to return them by 9:00 PM, my cousin had an injury at 8:40PM and we tried our best to get the equipment back on time but we couldn’t, we went to the shop it was already closed with no instructions on what to do in a situation like that.. we then looked for where cameras are placed and hid the equipment at the back of the store facing the camera so they can see us.

We were very paranoid thinking it might be stolen or maybe they’ll charge us a lot of money, but that wasn’t the case. I called them the next day in the morning and the lady told me that they brought it inside and we are good . That was a huge relief and i was super satisfied with the service and told them that I’ll be coming again next week too.

Just my opinion here, i think it would be a good idea to have a drop off area or a coded lock to strap the equipment to the rack in emergency cases like this. Some people live very far and are not staying in the resort.

I love this ski shop! My boots broke unexpectedly while at Mountain Creek and I needed new, quality boots at the last minute. The staff inside was knowledgeable, kind, and cognizant of my budget without making me feel guilty for purchasing something mid-level instead of high-end. They had several options to choose from and they fitted my skis for my new boots while I waited. I think my total time at the shop was maybe an hour ? Really quick and I was back to skiing the same day.

My boots that I bought a year ago at McAfee were just a little tight the following season for some reason. I brought them back in to the store to see if the team could help me out- Tracey and Gary were incredibly helpful and knowledgable. They fixed them right up for me, no extra charge. The customer service at McAfee is amazing. Definitely come here to get your boots picked out and fitted!

Small personal family feel operation. Not a spacious place but definitely a personal and professional atmosphere. Gary was very informative and supportive for my wife and i as beginners to the snow and ski seen. Pricing is competitive and definitely better than some bigger places we looked at. Will return for future purchases and rentals for sure

Tracey and the staff were super helpful and knowledgeable. They set me and my wife up with boot fitting and skis. Anthony spent 30 minutes discussing binding with our son. We closed them down plus a half hour. So thanks for taking the time to make us feel so very welcome at the shop. Definitely go there.

Can I give more than 5 stars?!
The ski/ boot rentals for my kids was about HALF the cost of Mountain Creek and Pelican. The equipment is quality and the service we received from Anthony (I believe, team #A6) was more than expected. He was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. He even referred to both of them by their names in wishing them well with their skiing and a happy new year! The other staff seemed to be great as well. I very highly recommend going there.

Gary & Tracey were so helpful in assisting us with the purchase of our first ski boots. There was no pressure to buy and they took time to measure our feet and advise on the best type of ski boot for our foot type. I was glad we didn't buy online and deferred to their experience with a proper measurement and fitting.

Super friendly and knowledgeable staff. Very very happy with the winter coat and new goggles I purchased this weekend. Happy to be able to try on goggles and coat before purchase.

These guys are the best around from daily and seasonal rentals to race gear. The back shop crew is on top of all the up to date tuning, repair and mounting. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Super awesome staff. I unfortunately was having some pain with my Salomon Ski boots. The staff was incredible with identifying where the problem area was and fixed the problem. The very next day my friends and I were about to hit the slopes again and for whatever reason my pants decided to split on the back end. Well off to Sun & Ski shop AGAIN. They had a great selection of pants/gear with some pretty good brands to choose from. On top of all that I realized I forgot my phone in their store... Sun & Ski shop saved the day for the third time and even delivered my phone back to me at Mountain Creek. The employees here ROCK. They will always have my business.

Have been renting from McAfee for a couple of years and never had any issues. Don't be afraid to ask for a better fit shoes/helmets/other equipment - they are there to help. They do tend to start closing about half hour before the mountain closes so, plan your timing accordingly. There is plenty of parking and the prices are acceptable

Beyond greatful for this place! Rentals was a hell of alot cheaper then the resort I already paid over $400 a night to stay at that wanted to add another $130 for rentals....staff was extremely helpful and pleasant

A very great place to rent the equipment if you need. 3 min to Mountain creek. No long waiting. Nice, patient and helpful people here will get you what you need.
