This is a great Thorntons. The convenience mart is clean and well-stocked with lots of snacks (both hot & cold). The drink fridge is HUGE and packed with pop, energy drinks and juice. Gas pumps are fast and prices are generally fair. Employees are friendly. Bit tricky to get to unless you're heading south on Weber Rd.

Rachel and Joann are exceptional managers who always make time for each customer, no matter how busy they are. Their friendly approach extends to the entire team, creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere throughout the store.

Jojo and Chris are a dynamic duo in the kitchen, keeping the hot food area fully stocked at all times. I've visited the store at various times of the day and never seen empty shelves. They always make sure to give each customer their undivided attention, even during busy periods.

Rose, Alejandra, and Jeremy are all equally amazing in their own right. Rose is engaging and always makes me feel welcome, while Alejandra's cheerful mood is infectious. Jeremy is laser-focused on food prep tasks, yet still manages to give each customer his undivided attention.

Josh is another standout employee, always thoughtful and engaging to talk to. And of course, Darrick and Dave play major roles in keeping the store in excellent condition. Their attention to detail is evident at every turn.

Overall, I can't recommend Thornton Gas Station highly enough. With its friendly and attentive staff, clean and well-stocked store, and amazing hot food options, it's my go-to spot for all my gas and snack needs.

Excellent place the clerks are super nice we are on the road trucking and my wife had a medical emergency and I stayed here at the truck stop for 5 days in the 18-wheeler while my wife was in the hospital up the street I just want to say thank you to all the clerks in the last 5 days that have been here.

This Location has the best fresh ice not like other locations in this area that have dirty smelly ice.

Stopped here this morning for the first time. Everything is so shiny and new!

Very clean place outside and inside roughly about 10 parking spots
Friendly cashier and clean washrooms
Highly recommended

Gas station is new very clean only complaint is they seem to detour you towards the self checkout even when you go to the register to checkout .Not everyone believes in self checkout gas is no cheaper products are no cheaper so it’s either plain laziness from the employees not wanting to ring the register or the managers fault for telling them to do so Self checkout is good sometimes but other than that it takes American jobs away and there is absolutely no savings money wise on products or gasoline for employees to make someone use self checkout that doesn’t want to or believe in it should be the customers choice to use that and not be forced to use self checkout

Really nice gas station but the clerk was a jerk and the auto check outs are a disaster it may have even double charged me

1/17/24 air pump for vehicle tires is broken. Denied a refund for faulty service. ALL u.s gas stations have the ability to turn on air/vacuum without charge as per regulation, wasn't even offered this service after repair. Most gas station clerks will flip the switch if you just ask even without previous purchase since they don't care/can't be bothered. This clerk didn't even consider it (or they could have saved the money and chosen not to install a legally necessary regulation system) in which case IDOT would love to know about.

Looks like they installed a little doohickey on the pump handle that keeps you from pumping the exact dollar amount you want in your tank. I like nice round amounts and be able to put in $30 instead of 30 whatever because the little lock keeps you from adding a penny at a time so screw this place, won't be going back

Key pads are absolutely disgusting. They Charge 5.50 a gallon for 92 octane. Do yourself a favour and go to shell across the street pay less for 93.

Doesn't keep receipt paper in the pumps to force you inside to buy stuff . Getting too cold for me to have to do their job and get a receipt , especially when the clerks are jibber jabbing personal problems behind counter . Just fill the paper roll at the pumps and you've done your job .
