Definitely appreciate a store like this. Healthier chose options on everything. Grass fed and organic or non gmo. Went for the first time today and plan to return soon.

Well stocked with healthy food. There are lots of high-quality brands that whole foods carried but doesn't anymore. Helpful and curious staff that know the products.

This is my FAVORITE grocery store of ALL time. No other store is this well stocked, and in such a compact, immaculate space, with all of my absolute favorite, healthy foods, in impeccably organized aisles, with everything so easy to find!

I absolutely love the two-level, narrow carriages as well. Far easier to push than full size ones. Such a novel idea and i am surprised that other stores have not followed suit. The bulk section and the produce section is a dream. I've had some of the best fruits and veggies from this store... the most delicious ever actually.

I also REALLY appreciate every single staff member that I've interacted with -- they're always genuinely friendly and helpful.

Also, this store always smells amazing...not sure what their secret is, but keep it up!

If only America was being managed by those with the integrity, good will, incredibly high standards, efficiency and thoughtfulness of this store's owners and staff, our current problems would be over!

Smaller grocery store that has a focus on organics. Lots of selection and fresh fruits and vegetables. Friendly staff.

My place to go for organic groceries, personal care and supplements! It's a small store but they have it all! They carry only the best natural and organic brands! My favorite is the bulk section, and that they always have a ton of products on sale!

Great little hideaway location in Portsmouth RI, this market has a 'surprisingly large' variety of healthful based foods and supplements. GREAT for quick stop on the way to the beach OR shopping for the week.

Friendly, helpful staff and genuine willingness to help you find the product(s) you're looking for - which is sorely lacking in the bigger box health food stores today. The store is spacious, reasonably well laid out and I've never experienced a congested shopping experience.

If you're trekking to Newport, stop by for a freshly made sandwich, fresh fruit, your favorite health drink, or even pick up some aloe or natural sunscreen.

This place is what health food stores and (local / family owned) markets were meant to be.

Lovely shop, we always visit and easily accessible on East Main. I do notice often there are many many employees inside, usually outnumbering customers. It can be a hassle to look at what you want when there are so many employees in the tight aisles. Had a bad experience asking to get around one, and they ignored me asking three times. It's clean, and has a wonderful body care department. It has a great selection and easy parking. I do remember there being a shop cat a few years ago named Gandalf, I haven't seen him in some time but hopefully he's still going strong being a good shop cat.

Really great prices! I also shop at Shaw’s, Stop & Shop and Aldi. I make note of the prices. Recently I noticed that LaCroix seltzer was cheaper at the Green Grocer than Aldi.
Huge variety of healthy products.

Our household is totally gluten free out of necessity, a family member has celiac disease, due to this there are certain things I can only get at specialty stores. As we all know typically these smaller shops tend to have higher prices, not so with The Green Grocer. I -always- find what I need and if I have a request for something not in stock they happily order it for me AND the prices are excellent!

Everyone in the store is very knowledgeable, extremely friendly, and it is always a pleasure to head in to pick up the things I need!

One of the main things that keeps me going back to the same place is the phenomenal service and this place has it. My family and I love it here. Everyone is sooo sweet and friendly and helpful. The prices are great, the selections are great, they have a great variety of vegan goods, gluten free, paleo, and organic foods. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for whole foods.

Terrific staff service and selection. One of very few stores left that actually meet the traditional pre-whoolfoods model of a healthfood store, I.e. before it was fashionable. Try their prepared food in the fridge by the registers I highly recommend their “One night in Bangkok” wrap and the breakfast bomb.

My two year old son loves shopping here with me. Everyone is friendly and kind to him as he tries to help pick out some new foods to try. Shopping at Green Grocer is an enjoyable experience for both of us!

This is a great family run store. They have a bit of everything here supplements, all natural and organic foods, cleaning products etc. Love their sandwiches made fresh they are excellent.

What a delightful place to shop! Fantastic selection of natural foods, organic produce, nutritional supplements, and yummy treats! Prepared foods (soups, wraps, salads) are exquisite. Staff is super friendly and helpful.

Fabulous selection, hard to beat sale prices, and a very generous rewards program. Why wouldn’t you shop here?!! Shop local, shop small!! This store is amazing and I’m grateful to have such a store so close to home!

The Green Grocer is tucked away in Portsmouth Rhode Island. They remind me of Down to Earth in New Bedford Massachusetts.
