Larson's Department Store

I went in to get 3 items for my dad. having never shopped the store I asked for helped I was Blessed with great staff members. not only did I get what I needed she suggested another item that would make my life better. I was in and out in 20 minutes. They even helped my 84 year mother get a great fitting coat! I don't like going shopping so that was a treat. this store takes service to a top notch level. 83 years in business and now you know why. By the way, rumor has it they started in business and world war 2 broke out. Could there be a correlation? Lol

We are locals and we were looking for a jacket for my son…and we needed a 2x and the nice sales lady didn’t give up until she found it. What a great testimony to the people of North Idaho. Sweet demeanor and not pretentious and we will definitely go back…

Larsen's is one of those sites you might tend to ignore or walk past in today's age of Amazon, Walmart or Macy's etc. However this would a big ole mistake. Tucked away downtown, catercorner from the stores in the bridge, and still thriving since 1908!!!!

Example. I had appt in CDA, thought I'd go explore purchasing a man's robe there instead of Sandpoint Christmas). Thought I'd have more choice and a better selection.

Well, Macy's sold out?!!! Entire mall nothing, Target, nope. I was exhausted. Called Larsen's said I'm looking, and striking out... Any possibility you have any robes and if black or purple, amazing! (Thinking really long shot 🥴)

Low and behold, not only a selection at very good price, but purple too! Drove back, great service (staff person actually placed what we had talked about aside for me to look at), and ended up finding something perfect that was fab quality.

Same thing has happened to be more then once. You'd think I'd remember to go there first. New Years Resolution!

They have everything, men's, women's, and children. So, moral of the story: don't throw opportunity away simply because they've been there for ever (literally). They keep up with the times, have very good quality, and don't overcharge for their goods. Plus, service is always wonderful.

Oh, the person in question loved the robe, grin. Happiness!

Great outdoor wear and comfy but nice casual wear. Footwear department went above and beyond helping my very picky kiddo find just the right boots!!!! And they worked with the bonners ferry location to help me get the style I wanted for myself!!! Love both stores!!!

The folks at Larson’s set the standard in customer service. My family has shopped at Larson’s for decades. Over the years we’ve purchased slippers, Pendleton shirts, jackets, high quality sleds, river float tubes, socks, hats, swimsuits and gloves and they can reshape your felt hats.

Knowledgeable, attentive and kind staff, wide selection of items carried in the store. Thanks so much Larson’s for being a great store in the community!! Will return soon.

I am from out of town taking a small winter vacation. Looking around and came across Larson's. Great store and great customer service. I bought some georgia work boots and was greeted and helped the right way. Worth the stop.

I just went in for the first time to purchase a pair of boots and the gentleman behind the counter was super friendly, helpful and knowledgeable, he was able to efficiently help me select the right boot for my needs and even had good recommendations for boot care products. I definitely recommend this local business for your boot shopping needs.

The greatest old fashioned customer service. Salesperson got me a different size and hung up clothes I did not purchase. So refreshing. So attentive.

Wonderful local clothing store with a few other items. Well stocked and super accommodating. Have other stores they can check to see if an item or size is in stock.

The only place in town to buy American-made Hav-a-Hank handkerchiefs, and at a price so low it'll blow your mind... Assuming you are, like myself, a handkerchief connoisseur. Three levels make up this store: men's, women's, children's clothing; shoes for the aforementioned genders (unsure about whether they carry children's shoes); tux rentals; wonderful hat selection; and topped off with an entire level of rugged work wear. This store is an historic building and a nostalgic throwback to Auld Lang Syne, if you're up on your Gaelic. It's a great mixture of every type of clothing you'll ever need for living here: casual, formal, work, slopes, or leisure.

Great customer service! Everyone was very friendly and helpful! They had a good offering of clothing and outdoor gear for the area.
