The Settlement Kitchen + Craft Tavern

We happened to stumble upon this restaurant while out for a drive. Staff is friendly, decor is modern pub/family friendly vibe, and it’s very clean. I was debating on their Cuban sandwich or the Rueben. Our waitress said the Ruben was her favorite…so I went with that and their special soup of the day, butternut squash. Both were absolutely delicious! Husband got the Mac and cheese and added pulled pork. It was a very hearty meal that he couldn’t finish. We will definitely eat here again when in town.

Everything about The Settlement is amazing. Service with a smile and the food is absolutely SCRUMPTIOUS. Can never go wrong with the Settlement Burger, definitely recommend the lamb chops.

Delicious! Truly a huge surprise. This restaurant could be in a big city and have a huge following. I would recommend this place to all of my friends and family.
Best chicken wings (dill dry rub) we've ever eaten. We also tried the mac n cheese and buffalo burger.

Out for Easter Sunday drive and stopped at this little gem. They have great selection of beer and wine. I ordered the fish tacos with a side of pickled onions. The fish was crispy outside with perfectly cooked tender flesh. The slaw, sauce and mango salsa were tangy, fresh and full of flavor in every bite. Can't get over the mango salsa, it was fire! The tacos are quite large and very filling. It's good they double up on the fresh corn tortillas, cause you'll need the extra to hold all the goodness in when you take a bite. The staff were very friendly as well. If you're ever in Priest River you should stop by.

Happened upon this Restaurant when out for a Drive~ No wait on a Saturday.
I had a Great Burger with Blue Cheese & Bacon Jam + other goodness! Delicious Fries with a topping of cheese & spices, so good & able to take leftovers home!
Another had the BISON Burger, which I tasted & was Excellent, no Gamey taste. Sis had a Salad with roasted Chicken, but said chicken was a little tough~
I would go again just to reorder the Blue Cheese Burger & great Fries!

100% honest review. I've been to this establishment several times now and patron this establishment before this person owned it. I only ate at the previous establishment one time and both myself and my two business partners received food poisoning and never returned until a new owner and name appeared. I was very pleased aesthetically with the interior. The new owner has done a tremendous job at making the place way more comfortable. Our first trip to the new restaurant was met with the friendliest of staff. We ordered our food, we received drinks all in a timely manner. The food was out of sight. Quality exceptional. Presentation outstanding. I must say that the fish tacos deserve an extra tortilla to keep them together better. The macaroni and cheese is the best in the world. At first I thought the price was a bit excessive but upon ordering and sampling I don't think they charge enough. A great cheese blend, mushrooms and bacon along with care and dedication make this dish one to be had. The beet salad, with candy cane beets and goat cheese is a dish that can never be replaced. We now order a beet salad and macaroni and cheese every week to be picked up and brought home and enjoyed. The pictures above are the product we received and we're taken at my own table. The product is just as fresh, hot and tasty as it is in the restaurant. 100% five stars in every aspect.

We had my husbands' post memorial service brunch for 40 people here yesterday. We planned in advance and David gave us a smaller but very nice menu. They really pulled it off as far as the service, getting food out of the kitchen for a large group and quality. Everyone was very pleased so kudos to all the staff for accommodating our large party!

We had a delicious lunch here - shrimp tacos and a luscious burger! We were already hooked on the food and service! To top it off, on our last visit a booklet with the Constitution of the United States and the Declaration of Independence was included when our bill came. No lectures, no opinions - simply a copy of these documents. To us, this says so much about the owners. We will support this business.

What a cool place with a great beer selection and very good food! Had their Grilled Cheese.... What whàaaaaat.... So darn delicious... I added smoked apple wood bacon... OMGoodness... The Fry's are on point also! My friend had a salad, said it was good and it looked very good too. I remembered to take a pic for you all, so check it out and when in the area there, get some really good food for reasonable prices!

Best chicken soup I've ever had at a restaurant. Excellent salmon - paired nicely with the arugula. Topped it off with plum tart made from scratch by their chef. Very surprised, very pleased.

Hands down the best place in town! We are here almost weekly and have never had a bad meal. Beverage list is always changing, but there's always something fun to try!

Great place to eat during our drive through Idaho! Their tacos are HUGE and they have a very well labeled menu for those that are gluten-free.

Affordable nice restaurant & pub. I ordered the spiders which were just the right amount of spice juiciness and crunchy slaw❤😋

For a rural town with a population under two thousand people, this place had a surprisingly trendy vibe. They boast a well balanced, small menu with organic, GF and vegan options. My only complaint was their lack of precautions to prevent the potential spread of COVID.

I was sold on this option when they told me it was the old John Deere tractor store. The food was great, but I had a hard time finding something that didn't have any of my fruit allergies included. (The best way to elevate everything is not wine.) So I ignored most of the entrees, and chose the grilled cheese sandwich with bacon added, and a side of french fries. It was delicious at the restaurant, the leftover sandwich at room temperature later, and the fries after they spent a couple minutes in the air fryer that night. It's a really solid meal that can still be that good later. The selection of beers on tap were wonderful, and my companions enjoyed the cider. When you're trying to decide on which beer you're drinking, order a flight. It is mentioned on the food menu, but not the beer menu. I could have saved everybody some time and headache if I'd seen that at the beginning or if it was mentioned to me by our server. I would recommend eating here while visiting Priest River, with the caveat below.
Is it a restaurant with drinks or a bar with food? I, and many other adults, don't appreciate kids being seated near the bar or our tables. We were having a good time, which deteriorated with the arrival of children at the next table. One was wearing headphones, but the other was eavesdropping on things they didn't need to hear. Can't we have a children's section like there used to be a smoking section in restaurants? We were all suddenly done with lunch, not ordering the other drinks we wanted, scattering from our entertainment in the wake of the whiny children arriving next to us. It was a sad end to a fun lunch.

We just stopped in for a quick lunch, and we are so GLAD! Service was great, and the food, you can tell, is all house made!
We shared fish tacos and pulled pork tacos, a couple of bevvies, and it was all great!

Fantastic food and service in Priest River. We have now stopped multiple time and food has always been great!
