This store is hands down the best around! I use Instacart on a weekly basis which helps me tremendously. Emily is always so great with replacements, communication and overall just so pleasant to work with!!! I can't say enough about how pleased I am with every single experience I've ever had here!! Kudos Mathews Food Lion! 👏👏👏

Recently it was my daughter's 3rd birthday and I ordered a cake. It came out better than expected and my daughter LOVED it!

I remember a time when "come here's" were not allowed to shop here. Man, what times we have lived in. They have uncrustables and chicken n a biscuit crackers. 5 stars.

I shop using the online ordering. Started at beginning of pandemic. I love the convenience of shopping this way. As I think if of something I need, I just go in and add to my list. When done and ready to pick up, I schedule a time for pick up that fits into my schedule. Like it so much, have recommended shopping this way to my friends.

Sometimes a little slow to restock, but very nice people. Clean and close to home! Very cool staff. Aaron is funny, Nikki remembered me and my friend, Maria will make anyone smile. Very cool 🤙

A very friendly little Food Lion. For a store in a remote, sparsely populated county, the store is nicely stocked, produce and meats are fresh, and the personnel are friendly. So yes, if you live in Matthews County, this Food Lion will satisfy your food shopping needs.

The employees at our Mathews Food Lion have risen to the challenge of taking care of customers and doing business during this difficult time. They have been wonderful and their hard work and positive attitude is much appreciated!

Associates there that work behind the counter as well as the floor they are very nice and very patient with you. The prices are just little high but still not bad. They have done a lot of remodeling and it's off of nice in there.

I go to Food lion almost daily. The staff is friendly, prompt, and always willing to help. I really can't think of a bad experience I've ever had! Parking lot exit isn't the best.

Love this Food Lion. They are always friendly and polite. Good selection of products too. If I can't find it at Walmart (which is often), I can almost always find it at this Food Lion.

It's the Only Grocery store in Mathew's now but. Staff very friendly, in and out quickly. And very clean and nice inside. But be sure stop here if you need groceries and going further into Mathew's.

A lovely foodlion tucked into the courthouse of the small town of Mathews County. This store is always kept clean, the employees are exceptional, especially the stockers who are always seen working hard to keep everything stocked to the brim.

Great store and staff. Way better than the typical Food Lion. Good fried chicken. Parking lot can be busy so park on Main Street.

Workers at this food lion are nice to me and my service dog Princess haven't had any problems with the workers only have problems with the insane prices !
