If you are looking for a homebrew store Operation Homebrew is the place to go. There is a wide selection of grains, hops and yeast for your homebrewing experiments. I love going in there, selecting my own grains, and milling them on site(saves me from buying my own miller).Andrew is very advisable when it comes to helping choose ingredients to match the flavor profile you are trying to get in your brew.
I had to save the best for last, the prices are pretty low. I feel like I get a deal everytime I walk out of this place.

Absolutely a fantastic store, everything you will likely need in brewing kits, extracts, grains, yeasts both dry and liquid, supplies for wine, mead, cider. All the equipment you might need from simple and basic to fancy gear.

Veteran USAF owned, a huge bonus for me, as I’m a USAF Vet myself. The staff are engaging, helpful, knowledgeable and supportive. It’s great to have this resource so close to me, instead of ordering online, without the supporting knowledge.

They offer a wide selection of in-house produced Wines and Meads

The prices are great, and I’d a whole lot rather support a local business than some online supplier

Andrew and Operation Homebrew are the real deal! The store is clean and well organized and best of all Andrew is chock full of knowledge. I came in because my wife wants to have mineral water on tap at home and left with everything I needed to get started. Thanks, Andrew! I’ll be back.

I visited the store for the first time a few days ago. I was really excited with the store’s selection, customer service, and knowledgeable staff.

Andrew and Angie were eager to answer questions and help me make the right selection. They were friendly and low pressure, but helpful.

Their inventory felt “fresh”, unlike some other stores I’ve been in that are filled with sun faded boxes of things you don’t want. The prices seemed fair too.

The cherry on top was their tasty selection of small batch wines.

If you’re even a little into homebrewing, visiting is a must. I’ll definitely be a repeat customer. Thanks for such a positive experience.

Fantastic brew store. Easily one of the best if not the best in the state. Great prices and selection, also the website lists everything the store carries. Best yeast selection out of all the metro Atlanta brew stores. Andrew is super personable, he is always free to chat about brewing and answer questions. My wife also really enjoys his wines as well. Love coming here.

Great store for CO2 refills. I use pressurized CO2 for my aquarium and this place has the best service and prices hands down. I am recommending this store to all my fellow Aquatic club members. Thank you.

Very helpful and great selection. We were a bit unsure the first time we came, but you just have to get used to the owner. Super nice guy.

Very knowledgeable staff ready to assist you with all your needs. Great prices and very ample selection of grains, yeast and hops. Wish they had a larger selection of hops but beggars can't be choosers. I don't really like giving my money to ABInbev owned companies. I'll shop here again. They also have a winery on site with free samples. Yum!

Best homebrew store in the area! Andrew is incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. Quick to answer emails, will put together an order so it's ready to pick it up, and they even provide next-day shipping for a reasonable fee. Can't recommend this place enough!

My husband and I went in for a bucket. The guys are great and so helpful. They have such a good inventory of merchandise. We wound up buying a wine kit, sanitizing wine tree, a Chocolate Porter kit and misc. tools. Plus, they offer various interesting classes. We'll be back VERY SOON!

Andrew & Angelina are the friendliest, most up to speed, knowledgeable & informed couple in this industry who not only have a genuine interest & concern for their customers but also for the local community.
Their store is clean and well stocked with everything you could possible need for home brewing. If you need something they don’t have on hand, they will do their very best to get it for you asap!
My personal favorites are the mixed berry wine and the apple mead. Delicious!

I would encourage anyone who has the slightest interest in learning about home brewing to stop by and chat with them or better yet sign up for one of their fun and informative classes and you will be ready to go home and get started!

They have a great selection of ingredients and supplies for brewers and wine makers of all skill levels. Very good pricing and good customer service. They now also make and sell their own wine which is highly recommended. Also check out one of their quarterly brew days!

Great inventory, best customer service around. Andrew works hard to create value added for the customer with classes, advice, and expedient orders. There are 2 brew suppliers closer to me, but he is my goto every time.

Since moving I was afraid I'd not find a store as well stocked as Athens, but I've yet to find something this man does not have stocked. I can lookup all the prices on his website, and know exactly what each brew is going to run me. Super knowledgeable, and helpful. Best of all not owned by any conglomerate STATE LAW!

My girlfriend and I went to this store for a wine brewing class. After the course the owners helped us select equipment so we could go home and brew our own wine. Now we're brewing fruit wines on our own (pineapple and apple at the moment). We had a really great experience here and they helped us get all the equipment we needed! They even went out of their way to sell us some used equipment so we could save money.

The store was clean and well organized. Andrew was very helpful and I would recommend this homebrew store to others

Regardless of your level of experience, these folks have just about everything you need and if they don't have it on hand they can get it for you. This constantly evolving supply store is blossoming into something truly remarkable that makes them stand out from the competition. While many places have a pretentious staff, Operation Homebrew has the nicest folks I've met manning the helm.
I really like that I can place an order on the website and stop by to pick it up the same day in store. If there is anything that they don't have in stock they will notify you immediately and help you find a solution, but this is a rare problem.

Put simply; I love this store.
Every time I go I find something new that I:
a)had been looking for
b)didn't know I needed
c)didn't know existed
