I decided to try out this new "hair for us" establishment, looking for curl cream and gel to lay down 4c hair.
The store is hotter inside than it is outside.
Now I know I am not alone when searching for hair gel, I like to test the texture of the product to ensure the density is what I'm looking for. I would assume an owner of a black hair store would take in consideration measures we may use to determine if a product is right for our hair. I dipped my pinky tip to test the texture of the gel, not .2 seconds the owner was on the isle telling me not to open the product. He was watching us from the moment we walked in via the thousand of cameras he has all around. Needless to say I put back all products I was going to purchase and left. I didn't appreciate being watched like a hawk while honestly shopping. If you don't trust your patrons you shouldn't be catering to their hair needs. I'm a proud melanated woman and despise foreigners exploiting our needs while not trusing or caring for us. I 100% do not recommend.
