A review just for the deli: This is the best place to get a custom made sandwich for a day hiking or boating around Clearlake. They open early and you can get sandwiches any time. They use top notch ingredients, they are friendly, they make it exactly how you request.

Jose in Deli is so friendly and personable. He is so polite and kind to us senior citizens. Good hob Jose you deserve more praise and accolades thank you

Its a Great Place to shop n talk with the Greatest(&Safest)Workers: who are always on hand to lend one to a shopper or two. Open from 5am until 1. Amen to 19 hours of shop till u drop The SafeWay All Day!! DUG DUG DUG DUG DUGDUGDUG

Safely safe Safeway used to be a Safe Place. But as of Late ... Nope its been: The Place to Hate with death and hunger hanging around weighing in to recycle a body not cans or plastic.( 5 months ago)

Love this store! Great selection, clean, friendly staff.... and the bakery! Yum! Can't leave without a fresh donut. And deli chicken wings, and fruit assortments, and.... well, you get the idea!

I've been shopping at a Safeway for ever,this one works for me,different layout, but the people working there are the best,every employee there has been polite, knows where things are and are just good people, that's why I keep coming back,plus like I said I've been shopping at a Safeway for at least 35 years so I'm use to what they have

Great customer service and decent quality products

You can watch them make sushi around lunchtime... Noon. You can have Veggie sushi customized. I like the avocado 🥑 sushi. Ask for soy sauce. They have great products.

I grew up with Safeway and I will ALWAYS shop there and their Deli makes the BEST SANDWICHES!! THE STAFF ARE VERY PROFESSIONAL, FROM THE " CUT ROOM ", TO THE BAKERY, TO THE CASHIERS/BAGGERS, ETC. I enjoy the cleanliness and how I never have to worry about any food items being sold past their expiration dates. 👍👍👍👍👍

I absolutely love José he works in the deli. And is the nicest guy. Always smiling, and eager to help you. I followed him from Foods.

Deli workers are friendly and make excellant sandwiches. They are upbeat and awesome. Checkers are friendly and very good baggers. If you ask a worker for help they are on the spot.
Safeway Clearlake is clean and they have excellent selections. The Deli department is one of the best.

Good to get in and out especially with self check out and 15 limit groceries line! Sometimes there is line and maybe 7 min wait or less and your out and set to feed the family for however many days u bought for!!

I like the sales prices, the employees are friendly and the store manager is always hard at work. One example is yesterday when I was searching for horseradish for Christmas dinner's prime rib. The horseradish that was for sale was out of stock so I went to the back and saw the store manager who was working with another employee in the stockroom but she took the time to tell me where to find the fresh horseradish.

The store is always busy but they keep it very clean and the employees are very nice and helpful. 1 improvement that I'm sure would be appreciated by many is that management added another cashier at night it took like ten minutes last visit.

I need the electric shopping cart to sit there's always one available at this location good for people who need a cart

I enjoy shopping at this Safeway. It doesn't have a HUGE selection on a lot of different varieties of food, but I do all my shopping here. The clerks are always friendly, and during this time of COVID, they're following all the guidelines.

I will say that they always have good meat selections, if you're looking for just something standard. Nothing too extreme for seafood selections but for my particular fancy, it's perfect. I'm not a big seafood eater and what I do eat, they carry.

Everything i needed for a BBQ wide choices of meats and veggies with large choices of beverages. All in all it was a good experience. Checking out at self check was a breeze, when I have a question the employees were helpful. 2 thumbs up.

When to the deli to get me a Turkey provolone sandwich on sourdough and it was a bit of a wait but it was so worth it!!!! it was delicious can't wait to go back to have more safely sandwiches. The ladies where great too!😉

I love shopping at Safeway because it's immaculate, not suffocating like the grocery outlet to me. Fresh produce, great meat selection. Everyone is so kind. Perfect shopping experience. I do miss being able to purchase goodies at the Bakery and sit down to take a break. As a senior now, I get so tired. I'm hoping delivery will be an option soon. Thank you Safeway!
