Something Sweet

The perfect sweet shop in Antioch!! The fudge is AMAZING. The chocolate truffles are my personal favorites and make great little gifts if you buy a pack of 5. They serve ice cream all year 'round and even during wintertime they can serve you delicious ice cream. If you're lucky enough to see the owner, Lisa, there, do yourself a favor and say hi. She is absolutely wonderful to talk to and you can tell from her terrific shop how passionate she is to bring you delicious treats. You must check this place out!

This is a very beautiful little candy shop. Went in to find a gift for someone. They definitely had a good selection to choose from. I even had to get myself some candies to go.

We stopped in on Christmas Eve to pick up some local gifts while visiting the area. What a treat! The atmosphere was so warm and inviting, the staff was welcoming and helpful and there was so much to choose from! The chocolate tastes even better than it smells which we didn’t think was possible. Please pay a visit to Something Sweet!

Definitely worth checking out! Great candy shop with a variety of chocolates, ice cream, fudge, and packaged candy. Lisa the owner is so awesome - she *really* loves her job and it shows! She's always in a great mood and is super social and nice. It's a family business they bought from the former family ownership, and Lisa has really tried to keep its legacy in place.

Great atmosphere smells like a yummy candy store! The selection is plentiful and the decorations are so cute, how great!

The staff here is so friendly and treats you like family! You can watch them freshly male candy in the back and they have prepackaged candy for quick in and out or you can stay and mix and match anything to your desire!! This place was fantastic! Also if you're not near they will ship across the us!

AMAZING! It is such a cute, warm, welcoming place with Homer ice cream, so many different chocolates, fudge, candy jars, etc and is always decorated for the various holidays and seasons with corresponding treats! The owner is what makes the place extra special by getting to know customers and making it extra special for kids! Definitely go if you're in the area or driving through!

Something Sweet review

Last month my husband and I were going to get married in Highland Park. With the recent tragedy that occurred, however, we were unable to stay with our original venue and catering service. With a week to prepare, we decided to stay local and support our local restaurants. We decided to go through the sweet shop in town, Something Sweet, and we had an AMAZING experience. The new owner, Lisa, could not have been kinder. She was very empathetic about our situation and listened intently on our story. She wanted to provide the best she could for us and we cannot express how grateful we are for her kindness and understanding. She took care of our requests immediately, and even blessed us further by adjusting the total to fit our budget. She borrowed us trays/stands and made it even more special by decorating them with ribbon with the same colors as our wedding theme. Her customer service was outstanding. We were very impressed with her service and her food as well! We ordered truffles and chocolate covered strawberries, our guests and ourselves enjoyed them very much. We highly recommend you stop in as we will be returning as well!

They have an excellent variety of chocolates and other sweets.

This is one great chocolate shop. All chocolates and fudge handmade. They have the best customer service too. And they really go out of their way to make you a happy customer who returns again. When it comes to Christmas stocking time, they have a lot of the old candies as well as pop rocks. The chocolates and fudge are way above excellent. A great place for gifts and well as getting some ice cream for yourself.

This is so legit. The owner is fun and creative, the candy is uh-mazing, the staff is terrific, and you feel at home in a dream of chocolate and candies. I needed a pick me up after planning my mom's funeral. I stopped in and found my place. Love, love, love it!

Charming store decorated to take you back in time. Friendly and helpful staff. Plenty of yum-yum to choose, it is easy to want to choose one of everything. Gift items ready to go which is nice. If you love peanut brittle as I do, they sell one that is so buttery sweet, melts in your mouth and doesn't stick to your teeth. My go-to sweet shop.

Sound a wonderful little shop! It felt very homey in there and the staff working the day that I came with my mom's cousin and her friend and they were very helpful as well. I picked up a bag of the Irish Cream Cordols and finished them up within 3 days! I wish I lived closer, so I could stop by more often and try some of the other chocolates that they have there...and get some more of those Irish Cream ones as well!

Amazing local sweet shop with staff as sweet as their chocolates. Check out the variety of delicious goodies from homemade to throwback candy. Need some zebra stripe gum? They got it. Sugar free homemade goodies too! They are tied for my favorite shop in Antioch with Xtreme Games a few doors down.

Extremely friendly staff. Delicious ice cream and chocolates. Very welcoming and family friendly. The staff and environment gives you the heart warming and feel at home. Their fudge is my favourite, creamy and soft.

The people are amazing, the treats are even better, it the cutest hometown place I've ever seen. They have a wide range of sweets and even something for pets too! Their ice cream is delicious. The only bad thing about the place is their prices. They are just a little more expensive than regular treats but the flavor totally makes up for it.

The fudge, the fudge, the fudge!!! If you love fudge, this is the shop to go to! Great flavors that constantly change. Their selection of hand-dipped items is outstanding also.

There are fun gift ideas for those hard to buy for people in your life. Or treat yourself to some gourmet sauces and jellies. Staff are welcoming and very helpful.

I've been a long time customer of Something Sweet but this past month they exceeded my expectations. The short of it, we ordered some birthday fudge and it ended up in the wrong state. Something Sweet tried to work with the postal service but unfortunately old fudge was returned to the shop. Nonetheless, with unprecedented customer service, Something Sweet sent a brand new batch out, no questions asked. Outstanding, even in this unusual time!
