This place is a local gem! I've been a customer for years and have never been disappointed. And I've never left without being awed by the selection of great foods and supplies. Fresh, excellent quality, and great prices.
Today I discovered they carry a very wide selection Schuil coffee (Grand Rapids), and left with 4 different kinds.
I bake a lot of bread at home and came specifically for their selection of flours. King Arthur Bread and AP; organic Spelt, Dark Rye, and Buckwheat. Very competitive prices!
You can find everything from candy to candy making supplies to coffees, teas, spices, and even soap and dog treats.
Staff is helpful and courteous and the whole place is well organized and VERY clean.
Highly recommend you stop in to shop around!

This place has the most unique finds of any store in the area. I am downstate in Roseville visiting with my daughter and grandchildren from Alpena which is at the very northeastern tip of the lower peninsula of Michigan. It's hard to get a lot of things up there. I have lived here all my life and recently moved to Alpena 2 years ago. I have a beautiful friend who has a ZOTZ fetish. I couldn't find them at first but the very knowledgeable cashier who probably owns the business too told me exactly were they we're at without even leaving the register. He knows where everything has had in that store and that is huge❣

love this place, its full of great products. got a bunch of stuff for decorating gingerbread houses and cookies today but theres a big variety of things to get.

When I walked in I was very surprised of the amount of product that they have to be able to get all I my favorite nuts Brazil nuts almonds cashews pistachios even peanuts with no sort this is the perfect place to go I also found some fresh lemon pepper and I love lemon pepper with some baked tilapia it was also a whole bunch of fresh ground spices they even head coffee of different flavors I'm not a coffee person but I'm pretty sure somebody out there that like coffee and they have a wonderful selection of candy in to my surprise the first place I seen with a Jelly Belly selection also what's multiple varieties of flour they also have candy decorations in a different color sprinkles of sugar and they also have bag-in-box teas and the customer service was excellent and you can also make up me trail mix with those fresh ingredients well I was just so excited and I will be going back

This place is great for a variety of products from coffee to candy and all the stuff in-between. I really don't know why I don't shop here more often. The store is clean and the help/owners have been helpful finding what I want. If you bake, this place is heaven. I am aware they have two stores and they both are full of items. I am thinking of filling up the Easter baskets with the candy from here instead of buying at the grocery store. The prices are very reasonable and you can be selective about types of items that you may want. It rocks and you need to check it out.

Incredible bulk food store - the pick n mix candy selection alone is worth the trip, but they also have an outstanding selection of dry bulk goods, like flours and baking necessities, spices, nuts, dried fruit, coffee, tea, and even sprinkles. Very competitively priced, very clean & very well thought-out - I’ve not had any issues. I visit at least once a month.

I've never been to a bulk food store before so keep that in mind with this review.. with that being said..... They have a lot of things here to look at and see... You could spend an hour in here easily. There are things in this store that you cannot find anywhere else! I love to come in and get the nuts I need for whatever couple recipes I'm going to make. Not having to buy full size bags of everything is so nice. So much candy!!!! There's different kinds of flours, beans, granola, nuts, chocolates, baking stuff, and lots of different kinds of coffee!!! I love the coffee! You can grind it yourself right there. I do come here like once a week now that I've started. Fair prices mostly, just watch the expiration dates! I would recommend this place to anyone especially the bakers! Come check it out.

Always fun to go to Bulk Food and see candy, treats, coffee, tea, etc that you haven't seen in ages or want to try before committing to a larger size. Scoop & bag it yourself, write the product number on a twist-tie, that's it. There's something for everyone. Prices per pound or ounce (depending) aren't great but that's not a big deal to just get a bit of what you want. Doesn't accept EBT despite being food product so adjust accordingly. Staff are nice and helpful.

It's a place one better not go hungry. So much to chose from and great prices. Highly recommended. They have expanded their line of goods they carry.

This is one of my favorite places. They have candy that I ate as a child and so many other candy and nuts. If you have never been here, you must.

This place is the best. When you only need 1 tsp of that hard to find spice or the one that is $9 for a jar you will never use again head here. Amazing new and retro candy. When my parents are in from Iowa this is always a stop. The coffee selection is amazing, personally I love the Cuban blend beans. If you bake and don’t shop here you are missing out as well.
