I’m located in Southern California and this Emma’s my first big buy for my small business. I was a little somewhat insecure about how would everything would turnout.

I have been buying restaurant equipment for 15 years and have used a few different venders, Richard and Marcus at West Michigan equipment have helped me source parts, find the correct equipment, and fixed a few pieces to save me money. These are things that can’t be said for most equipment vendors in town.

In the last year I purchased several things from Marcus totaling around 40 thousand dollars Nearly a year later I have an oven that hasn’t worked from day one. Two fryers that I bought new and don’t work properly. Two used fryers that both failed in the first 22 days of operation, and returned at his request I’ve texted him , called and left messages. No response. A few weeks later he took my call. Accidentally I’m sure. I got a hey buddy how you doin. Ya. Sorry I put you in the weeds, I promise I’ll call you tomorrow and get this taken care of. Im really busy today I got a big estimate to figure. The moral of the story is as soon as Marcus has your money you don’t much mater anymore. He’s to busy chasing the next dollar to be concerned with the broken product he’s already sold you. Do yourself a favor and shop at Charney. I have purchased several new and refurbished pieces from them and yes I had a problem with a used dough sheeter and Charney They came out picked it up, fixed it and brought it back. Their service is over the top. Marcus will not.

Tried to rely on them to help outfit my business, while on a deadline. They had set a timeline that we would see quotes, never heard a thing after that.
I would call and leave voicemails, send emails, etc... but never would get a reply. If you need to rely on someone for getting something done in a timely manner I would not use this company.
