Retro Video Game World

The guy behind the desk was wicked nice and willing to answer any video game questions I had. He was very knowledgeable too. Walked out with several GBC / N64 / GBA games, would go back for all retro gaming needs.

This store is fantastic! Friendly staff, excellent selection of items. Even some rare and hard to find games and accessories. Hours are great too!

All the games I looked at were in good condition and CIB, controllers and peripherals were also in good condition as well as a lot of brand new 3rd party ones which is nice to see. I didn’t catch the name of the guy who was working while I was there but he was very helpful and knowledgeable of their inventory. I’ll definitely start coming here for my games rather than their competitors that I used to go to

The guy working the counter was extremely friendly and helpful. It always nice to speak to someone that’s actually passionate about what they do for work.

I’ve looked at maybe a dozen stores in Maine and NH and this was the only place that had multiple copies of the original fear. My search is over! This should be your go-to place for retro video games in NH!

Be aware some games may having writing and damage. They only take returns if product doesn't work not if you get home and notice the game isn't in the best shape. So just check out the stuff thoroughly before you buy. Other than that place is really cool,people are nice and pretty knowledgeable.

Great service and nice rotating stock. Pricing is pretty standard for retro shops, yeah you can probably go to eBay for cheaper but you are better off supporting a store that serves the community rather than a reseller online.

My son goes to this shop frequently and I've gone with him a few times. The guy is super friendly. The nostalgia is great.

Great little spot! He helped me find a gift for my brother, and even helped find an additional controller so we could play together on the console.

Such a cool place! The guy working was extremely personable and knowledgeable. They have really great things especially if your a collector, even if your not they have some great new stuff for a great price! They got everything from retro/early 2000’s to brand new stuff. Definitely a place worth checking out:)

My favorite video game store anywhere. Floorplan is on the small side, but selection is good, prices are fair, staff is friendly, and customer service is good. Definitely check them out.

I visited here last month while I was in the area. Completely forgot to write a review then, but the man behind the counter was very friendly, and the store was well shocked with all kinds of games. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area.

Didn’t catch his name but the guy working the register with a blonde beard was SO helpful to me and my mom. I don’t usually write reviews but I felt necessary because he really went above and beyond with his customer service! Greatly appreciate the kind help, awesome store with so many great oldies. Will absolutely be returning!

My Lord, where do I start? Retro Video Game World is hands down, without a doubt, the best video game store I've ever been to. I haven't seen a collection of video games like Retro Video Game World has, and that's keeping in mind some of the bigger stores like Bullmoose. Not only does the store have some absolute gems, but I would argue the store is unmatched when it comes to pricing. The staff was super friendly/helpful, very knowledgeable, and anyone who goes into the store would tell you the employees are extremely passionate about not only video games, but their business as well. I am going back tomorrow as I live right across the street.

Great store with lots of inventory! I bought something that I thought broke and I brought it back. The guy was really easy to work with! He was able to fix the problem in the matter of minutes and a return was not necessary. It wasn’t even broken! Definitely a store I will come back to!

Cool little game shop packed with a lot of great retro games.

So far I have shopped here twice, bought a console, two controllers and two games. I cannot be happier with the products or the experience. Doug is a great guy who is knowledgeable about the systems he sells, stands by his products and is just interesting to talk with in general. I will certainly be back soon. Thanks Doug!

A good friend of mine told me about this place at first I thought that it’s just going to be another overprice game store and have the same exact stuff as all the others but when I walked in, I was blown away from the amazing prices collectors items, a big selection of consuls all the old and new games for every system you can think of to the amazing employee. I did not catch his name, but this man is very knowledgeable, respectful trustworthy, not just on video games but the prices as Well And the history of every game in that store I did, in fact, walked out of there with something in my hands, this will be my new favorite video game store and this will be the only one I will be going to from now on, and I never have written any review on any store or any other place I’ve been to, so this will be my first review on the store for the man who I talk to so that’s why I’m giving this five stars

Niko was very responsive to all my questions. They do a great job testing for authenticity. Will be back
