Joe's Fruit Market

Always has fresh fruits and vegetables. I like to visit for the green peanuts 🥜 that I boil with salt. They are so delicious. This place has lots of herbs and spices that are great for cooking. Many other items as well. I definitely recommend it.

Very nice in/out West Indian/Asian/American convenience shop. A small hand basket is all you need to pick up something to cook that reminds you of home. There is a nice fish market on the same block around the corner.

Great Caribbean market!! They have everything you need for the West Indian cook! Shocked to find fresh sorrel and fresh dasheen bush. All the Chinese sweets from my childhood, Peardrax, Cydrax, you name it they had it. Employees were helpful and people at the register were nice. Not to mention the prices were better than the other place I went to and it was very organized. This will be my go to shop for all foods Caribbean.

Everything Caribbean you need are there. Comfort and Nostalgia of back home, our teas, fruits, and veggies are sold at Joe's. Sweet Mangos!

I love this place! It's tiny, packed and cramped. I've been going to Joe's for 15 plus years and they have a lot great carribean foods that I cannot find elsewhere. I live in another state but I will drive hours to get my Joes fix thank you!!

I LUV this location of Joe's! Dont care too much for the Irvington location, but that is just my personal opinion. The young lady behind the counter on the left, when you enter the store, is always ready to assist and answer any questions you may have. This location is always much more clean and able to locate exactly what I need when I go, altho it is smaller a location than Irvington. U guys rock!!

Get your shadow Beni, calaloo bush, pumpkin and selfish. Your ferrol compound, lidya pinkum, katanga water, red and white lavender, vayrum and detol. Any thing you can but in the Caribbean or missing from home Joe's has it. Trini cheese, golden ray you name it Joe's has it. After a while they start calling you my friend with a big smile.
