Sneaky good tacos at a great price. Take the negative reviews with a grain of salt. Hard working owners that sell a well crafted and delicious taco. My family has a few of almost every variety and enjoyed them all.

This place has everything you want and if they don't have it, if you talk to them they'll probably get it for you. That's just the store, the kitchen is absolutely amazing. I haven't gotten much but I plan on trying as much of the menu as I can. It's a shame they aren't more well known, the people there are family level friendly, and as a gringo, I never once felt like I wasn't as welcome as the regulars and actual family and friends. If you're in the area, definitely check this place out.

Edit: the prices are a bit high but that's only if you're willing to drive further away. Of course I would like to pay less, but the cost of food has gone through the roof everywhere and kitchens are no exception. If you want a tastier taco for $3.50 then find a way to make one yourself. I literally just got an asada taco for $3.44 after tax and I tipped a dollar on top of it, if I didn't want to spend $3.50-$4.50 for a taco then I wouldn't have walked in to an authentic kitchen. This place isn't taco bell nor should it be

2nd edit: the hot sauces aren't a challenge, if you're not used to spice then I suggest you taste them before you use it as a condiment. The red sauce made me hiccup for a few seconds ngl, the Verde is amazing but it's also not mild

The best tacos I've ever had. If you want to go somewhere that is as authentic as they come, go here. This is the kind of place that is a grocery store that happens to have a couple of booths and a small kitchen for grandma to cook up some tasty food. You will not be disappointed!!!

Hands down, great authentic food!
Within walking distance from the airport and nearby hotels. Make sure to stop in before or after your flight.

We stumbled upon this diamond! Amazing tacos, burritos, and sopes!! Truly authentic food. Owner was amazing! So wonderful. He spent time speaking with us and suggested food. My pizza loving boy said it was the best food ever! I grew up in Southern California and have eaten a lot of great Mexican food and this rates high up there!

This is as authentic of Mexican cuisine as I've ever found in Missouri. Be prepared, the menu is only in Spanish.

Authentic Tacos on weekends and lots of other great food. Convenient little grocery store that has a meat and produce section. Make an attempt to order your food in Spanish.

I have lived in the neighborhood behind this store for a little over a year. The owners are very friendly and I got to eat chicken tacos there a couple weeks ago. Tiny bit pricey but worth every single penny. Amazing authentic Mexican and I am going back tonight. Have turned several others on to this little hidden gem. Highly recommend

I only go here for hot food! Anytime I want some Mexican food, but don't want to drive far, I go here. Their tacos are great. Actually, all their food is. I haven't been disappointed yet & my husband loves their hot sauce. Love Malintzi!

We live close by and I have always wondered where the amazing smell is coming from. Finally found out today when we stopped in for tacos! They were amazing street tacos with the most incredible and well prepared meat! We had tacos pollos and carnitas. My mouth is still watering wishing I had more!

These were the best tacos I have ever eaten and I have eaten lots of great tacos. Friendly staff and welcoming environment make this place worth the trip. We’ll eat at Malintzi’s a few more times before we leave St. Louis!

I love this store- always clean, fully stocked, great produce, and everyone is friendly.

It is convenient, because they like down the street from my house. They do not have everything, but when I need something in a hurry that I do not I could down the street to get it. The only thing that I do not like about it is that the are high in price, but other then that they are great.

The tacos are authentic, spicey sauces are not for beginners.

This is more than a hispanic grocery store. Though if that's what you're interested in, you're in luck. They even have fresh produce and a butcher/meat counter. But! If you're not looking for groceries but instead some amazing Mexican food, look no further. The tacos are on point at $2 each. 3 will fill you, 4 will have you in a coma. The quesadilla looked really good too and I'm not a big fan of them. Next time I'm going to try the torta. Yum!

Love the tacos!! Love how it so original from the inside. Food their make me feel like I'm in Mexico again I truly love this place.
