I have had the pleasure of conducting business with this establishment for many years. They carry beautiful jewelry and do great jewelry repair work. The Manager, Roberto C. is wonderful to work with. He's fair, honest and provides exceptional customer service in a world where it's almost non-existent. His pleasant, outgoing and friendly manner makes you feel right at home. He makes you feel better when you have a jewelry "oops" and has a way of bringing calm to the situation. J&S has a top notch jeweler who does fantastic work. I highly recommend Roberto and his team!!!

Watch was fitting to big so I took it to James & Sons Jewelers in Olympia Fields and In a matter of minutes it was fixed. In and out and on my way. Love the convenience and the turn around time plus everyone was great!! Need a watch repair or jewelry come check them out!

Stopped in to get my necklace repaired, ended up browsing at some the jewelry. Great selection. Roberto gave me a a great deal on a pair of gold hoops. I can’t remember the name of the lady who helped me but she was sweet and such a pleasure. Thanks everyone! Can’t wait to shop again. 😃

I had the opportunity to purchase a Tacoma Parlor Guitar through J&S and what a pleasure from start to finish dealing with Roberto! From the negotiation to paying for and shipping the guitar the service and interaction were top notch the entire way. Roberto was fun and engaging the entire time and kept me updated with prompt phone calls and texts to explain everything that was going on from his end. As far as the negative reviews posted about J&S well read them and think for yourself these people aren't the brightest and wanted something for nothing and left a bad review? Nonsense. Two fingers up Roberto.....my thumbs of course!

Wow this place is AMAZING I really needed help selling my earrings I came here 5 mins before closing and Roberto took me in and helped me without hesitation with a smile super pleasant he definitely made the process smooth and easy and fast

Had my jewelry repaired here many times, including my engagement ring. I would trust no one else. Their workmanship is always the finest. The store is clean and the guys are friendly, helpful, and fair. They always have me walking out feeling like their best customer. I would refer family and friends here in a heartbeat!

Not many places, especially pawn stores deserve 5 stars but this place does! For all that are concerned with COVID, the store was clean and they’re following all CDC requirements/ recommendations. But back to business: the staff is professional, had great customer service and gave what I thought was a fair price. If you’re looking to actually make a sale or loan for valuable items come here. The only reason I would say do not come here is because this is not a tacky pawn shop filled with junk! The shop is full of valuable items, that are clean and taken care of!

Exceptional service! Today was my first time doing business with J &S Gold & Diamond Exchange. I must admit I was a little nervous and a bite hesitant. I was fearful of being cheated or taken advantage of. When I first walked into the establishment, I was promptly greeted. Then I sat down with Daniel, and I instantly knew I had come to the right place. All of my fears went straight out the window. My over all experience was awesome. Very pleasant place and real kind owners. Roberto “Da Don” is my go to guy. I have nothing but compliments to post, this place is super clean, large selection of items in their inventory; even a motorcycle was for purchase. I’ll always drive 40 miles round trip for J&S. It’s a great doing biz here!!!!

This is by far the best Pawn shop in the area. It's not even close comparatively to the competition in the area. The shop gives you the top prices for your items so you are never leaving disappointed. The manager Roberto is a great guy to work with on any of your items. They are very good with grace periods for missed pay dates which helps tremendously. I highly recommend going here if you are at all thinking about pawning/ selling an item.

I had a great experience with both the owners, great guys, I brought a motorcycle there, they gave me a great deal. They really seamed to care about the sale. This is my first motorcycle purchase, they gave me alot of first hand information about safely riding my new bike. They helped me to load it and tie it down . Great guys, great shop. I will return.

I found J & S with the help of Google. I was looking for necklace for my girlfriend for a decent price. I walked in and was greeted by the gentleman, working. He told me to let him know if I needed to look at anything. He was pleasant and took the time for some small talk while I was looking. I found the necklace and handed over my credit card. After ringing me up, he informed me he had taken an extra $10.00 off the price. This was very kind of him and I don't know of any other stores that would do that. He then took the extra time to nicely box up the necklace for me. I would not hesitate to go back in the future. Very professional business with great customer service. Thank You J &S.

I had a regular jeweler I took my repairs that was a little far from my house because I am very picky with my jewelry and also on a budget. I had something that had to be done quickly and found James and Sons gold and Diamond exchange in Olympia Fields in the phone book and thought I would give them a try because I didn't have time to travel to my regular jeweler. This was several months ago and I have now gone back to them well over a dozen times. I will never go anywhere else again for my jewelry repair! I am so glad I have found them. They do great work and their pricing is great. I wear a LOT of jewelry and do not take it off often and I am very active so I do have a lot of stuff break and I have gotten to know the people at J & S. Everyone there is very friendly and greets you when you come in, but I deal with Roberto Giovanni and cannot say enough good things about this man that I have been lucky enough to meet on that one first day. Roberto honestly CARES about his customers and goes out of his way to make them happy. My most recent transaction was to bring in a ring that I lost and then found in the driveway that had been run over so it was smashed beyond recognition, I was heartbroken because it meant a lot to me and didn't have much hope for it to be possible to fix anywhere. I gave it to them with another one of my repairs, not expecting much, but they were able to fix it, and fix it beautifully. Hector, their repairman is very talented and did such a wonderful job. I trust him so much that I am going to have him work on a charm bracelet that I have been collecting charms for a while for Christmas. Roberto also gave me a price that no place in the world could have matched because I was now a regular customer, I was speechless and so happy because right now I am dealing with my mother and her cancer and was expecting to have to make payments! But all of the pricing there is very good - beyond fair and I now have a new jewelry place to take my broken jewelry to for life. You cannot go wrong at James and Sons, especially with Roberto who is sincerely a great guy who really cares, you can tell he is passionate about helping people, I have watched him be that way to anyone that walks through the door. I am so happy that I now know about them and never go out of my way to write a review (I am too busy) but really felt like this was important to me to do one now. I want to share with everyone what a great business they are. They have a loyal customer for life with me!!! I can honestly tell you to trust them with your most treasured jewelry and they will do a great job and you will feel the care in the atmosphere!! They also have a nice store with lots of deals - the pricing is very good. So glad to have found James and Sons Gold and Diamond Exchange on Vollmer in Olympia Fields!!! They always make me feel special and that is so important when it comes to service :-)

Today was my first time visiting J & S Gold and Diamond Exchange and it was a GREAT experience from the time I walked in the door until the time I left. I had some jewelry that I wanted to sell, but was unsure of where to go. I had passed by a few times and thought it more like a store and not just a pawn shop. I have heard so many horror stories about people trying to sell merchandise and had bad experiences at pawn shops. Roberto Giovanni, the Manager, as well as another employee greeted me when I walked in. Roberto was so friendly and pleasant and made me feel at ease upon entering the store. He looked over each of my pieces of jewelry and then weighed to give me the value. I had the jewelry so long that I wasn't sure what any of it was worth, but it turned out to be worth far more than I expected. I highly recommend J & S Gold and Diamond Exchange because you will get a honest and fair deal. I definitely will go back whether I want to sell something or buy something.

Pleasant experience . I needed a quick gift something nice of good quality yet not overly expensive .(I was balling on a budget I should say).ha😉 Although I had never purchased from J&S I had come in before about a year ago and I remember the fellas namely Roberto being pleasant and very helpful. They were attentive, patient and had a great sense of humor. Well I came in today and I got the same treatment which made me wanna spend my money. Roberto took great pride in making sure I was a happy customer. He even went the extra mile boxing my purchase up all nice. lol I promise those lil things matter and I appreciate even the lil details. I'm really pleased with my purchase and I'm sure my Husband will be too.
