the best Asian store . So many varieties gathering food from Asia . Especially the seafood sections , live , fresh, and good quality.
Recently, they have live fresh blood clam or
cockles that hard to find in your area.
Highly recommended this store!!

This is my new favorite Asian grocery store! I used to go to Assi since it’s closer, but then during the Chinese new year I tried to cook some traditional Chinese dishes and couldn’t find several ingredients in Assi, and my friends told me about J-mart. What a large selection they have and I found all the ingredients I need (meat, seafood and spices) and more! Assi is more Korean focused and this store is more Chinese. I will drive 5 minutes longer to shop here from now on.

This is more of a Viet/Chinese market, than Korean/Japanese but they do carry ingredients for them also.
Go on Sat for best and fresh seafood
Super clean compare to a lot of Asian market. Overstock but not disorganized.

The meats looks way fresher than Assi imo

The live seafood looks super fresh, especially the blue crab . They were lively and 3.99lbs

Prices is reasonable and slightly cheaper than Assi also.

Has all the Viet herbs I needed .

I like the banh mi they have on weekends, tried a cold cut one and it wasn’t bad.

Probably the best Asian store near Philadelphia. So many varieties gathering food from around China. They might even have more types than a regular Chinese store because inside China, local stores won’t carry very specific sauces for a specific region. This store is accommodating everyone. Some of the signs are very “Chinese English”, e.g. “Chicken paws”. 😀😀

Cute little Asian grocery store that skews a bit more Japanese. It is billed as Japanese, but there's a lot there you don't find in Japan. They do have Kirin Gogo-no-Koucha teas, which is wonderful!

The staff are amiable, seafood is fresh in the back, and the Asian snacks are super tasty especially the bread they sell. Fruits are fresh. Definitely recommended, great supermarket!

Best store around (better than Assi), very authentic products. Great owners. I drive very far every week or more because they are great. Banh mi and baked goods are my favorite. SUPPORT LOCAL!

My husband and I are fond of this place as we can buy a lot of Asian snacks, beverage and condiments here. We usually go there once a while or when our stock runs out. We are excited each time we go because it makes us feel at home, clean environment, friendly staff and attractive goods.

I mostly shop for fresh fish and asian vegetables. I have been going to Assi for years and years, but searched for "Asian Markets Near Me" on Google and J-Mart came up. Thought I would give it a try. The vegetable selection was good for a smaller market - very clean store.

I am formerly from Philly and have been to many of the asian markets in Chinatown, NE Philly and Montgomeryville. I would give J-Mart a thumbs up!

One of the best stops to get seafood. The store host south-east Asian food and is very well kept. The sea food are well kept under conditions and reasonably priced. Might find less freshly caught.. But they are mostly fresh. Has enough car parking spaces and starbuck just a step away.

This is a great market!

They have a large selection of items and it's extremely clean.

I used to go to the really large Asian market (I won't name it) in this area and I've been disappointed lately with the overwhelming smell and decline of quality produce. I'm happy to replace that place with this one.

My first time here and I was great. Good selection, decent prices. The produce was high on some lower others, but dry goods were excellent. If you need Asian ingredients, definitely go.

I have been coming to J Mart even since it opened! It started off small, but now it is packed full! I find that it has a lot of Taiwanese food and not as much Japanese food as I thought (since it is called "J Mart"), but I still really love the selection they have. The meat and fish prices are not ridiculous, and the produce is always great quality. Though they are not the cheapest in town, their vegetables always taste so sweet. They always have such interesting fruits too! The ice cream section is so fun too. I like that they always stock up on new items, so I always want to try everything.

The staff are all so kind and respectful. They always say "hi" and "have a good day" and smile. Sometimes when I visit, the workers will immediately introduce what new products they have. One time, the cashier made a mistake of the price of pears, and my mother explained the different pears to her. The cashier was very kind, apologized, and corrected the price. No drama!

I like that they are sanitizing the store often during this time. Thank you to all the Spanish workers too! They work very hard, and they are just as kind as the regular staff. I noticed they previously worked at Assi, where I no longer shop due to their continuous downhill fall in quality. I would rather pay more at J-mart for good customer service! I have been introducing all my friends to J Mart and not to go to the other Asian supermarket.
