I have bought two pipes here and lots of fabulous hand-crafted blends. This place is SO GOOD that they were able to help my daughter when she came in asking for some tobacco as a Christmas gift.

Best of all, they are more than helpful and never condescending to new pipers. They are extremely knowledgeable and happy to answer every question. Highly recommend!

Absolutely my favorite place. I stopped in for a single cigar one day and have stayed for the company ever since. I try to make it here at least once a week.

Highly recommend and very reasonable. They sell excellent products and can match the product to the event like a fine taylor. Whatever the reason that finds you in the area, I recommend stopping by and seeing how your day could get just that much better.

The worker at the register was extremely helpful and all the tobacco smelled great. I also got a Peterson in fantastic condition and enjoyed its first smoke in a nice leather chair surrounded by welcoming people

First time there great selection of cigars the salesman that helped me was very knowledgeable. I found the price's reasonable and it's cheaper to buy the cigars there then ordering online. I will be going back.

I am new to smoking cigars and came in this shop looking for advice and help. When i got there at 10am people were lined up to get in. I see why now. The gentleman working there ask me a few questions then set me up with some wonderful cigars. The manner in his advice is laid back and not rushed. He takes the time to help you and not push you out the door. I have been back several times now and every single time he has been spot on with his recommendations. He is definitely honest also! My wife tried to get me a $30 Patron cigar and he knowing my taste and being a beginner smoker advised her i was not ready for this full bodied cigar for now and was scared it would be a bad experience for me. What salesman does that?! One that cares about there customers, that's who. This is the only shop i will go to in Winchester.

I have zero clue about cigars, but my brother-in-law loves them. I had called in the day previous to inquire about gift cards, and the owner remembered me when I came into the establishment the next day. Instead of a gift card, I simply showed him a picture of a cigar my brother-in-law recently enjoyed, and he put together a sampler box of cigars based off the flavor profile, and within our price range! It was such a simple transaction, and he even gave us a cigar box to hold the cigars. It made for the perfect birthday present!! Thank you for taking the time to make this so stress-free!!!

My friend recently moved to Winchester and I stopped by today, the man working (maybe owner) was incredibly nice and very helpful since I told him I’m a casual cigar fan. I asked him for some suggestions he was very knowledgeable and most importantly the customer service was great, definitely created a return customer!

I was very pleased with the service. I walked in slightly intimidated due to my lack of knowledge about cigars. Thanks to the gentleman at the counter,Matthew I was quickly put at ease.
He took the time to help me find the right cigars and pipe. He also took the time to educate me about how to go about lighting the things!

You cant go wrong in this Cigar Shop. Mathew is so knowledgeable he can boggle your mind with what be knows. Great selection of cigars, the staff are friendly, and when not with other customers will sit down and shoot the bull making your stay that much more enjoyable. Prices are very reasonable. Give this place a visit, you wont be disappointed.

This store is amazing. The selection is impressive. The store owner Mathew is knowledgeable and he helped us choose a variety of cigars and we enjoyed every one. Plus there's a cozy place to hang out and smoke.

Well never been to the place but they have a sutlery at Ft Shenandoah during our fall and spring N-SSA matches I walked in and I had great experience I can't remember the gentleman's name but he was very good on what he was doing the best cigars after my 2018 fall nationals my father passed away and never been back to the nationals because work relations, Family relations battle so it was hard for me to this day to come down and shoot the nationals and I really want to come to the store and sit in the chairs in my Confederate uniform and enjoy a good cigar...

John B. Hayes - Tobacconist is like the next best thing to relaxing at home. Comfortable atmosphere, good people and a great cigar and pipe selection. The staff is top notch, friendly, and knowledgeable. Matthew (shop owner) is always thinking of ways to improve his shop and cigar selections. You'll find nothing better in these parts of Virgina.

I really enjoy the special cigar events with vendors and new product, this is always great way to learn or improve your cigar or pipe knowledge. I love trying the new products and getting other peoples thoughts on them as well.

Matt, the owner, is super helpful. They have a wonderful selection. Uncle chops is very friendly and likes to make you feel at home. There is a little lounge area where you can enjoy your cigar.

As an expeditor, I'm all over the U.S. As I was walking to the building, the strength of the cigar aroma excited me. Inside, is an old shop feel/look(all positive). Classic cabinets for the cigars with lounging as well. The cigar guy was very helpful with short stories to tell to. I'll return again.

Such a relaxing environment, Matthew Hayes goes out of his way to make sure everyone is satisfied, and his knowledge on cigars and pipes are amazing. And the selection is great plenty of hard to find quality cigars. You won't find a better shop anywhere in this area!!
