Post Mask Mandate Update:
No complaints other than 2020 issue. Just a little expensive.

This was formerly a 5 star review. But the employees complete disregard for public health is worthy of a rating drop. The man behind the register and another employee walking around the store refused to wear masks and claim that they "know the law". Completely disrespectful when I asked them to wear masks. I used to love this store, but I suggest everybody stay away. They are despicable. The woman in the attached photo was wearing a mask and she has always been a sweetheart. I hope her negligent co-workers don't get her sick.

Couldn't find what I was looking for but staff was extremely helpful. Now I have the tools I need to complete several home projects at a fair price. I would recommend them to anybody looking for small shop service with wide variety of options.
*Edit 8/31/22 - again in needing help. Employees consulted together to determine the best option for me & I left a happy camper yet again

Great staff great store. Rather shop here locally than anywhere else. They also honor us Veterans. They have an excellent supply of whatever you need for your home. Give them a try.

The are allways friendly and supper helpful. This was one of the best customer service experiences i have had in a long time

The place is like the bar in cheers! Everyone knows your name and always going out of their way to be helpful and friendly! I try to shop local every chance I get. The personal service is well worth the extra dollar your going to spend here.

Super knowledgeable staff and free delivery make Burke's my go to for all things "hardware/lumberyard". The store is well stocked and if they don't have it they'll get it. They try hard to compete with the big box stores...and they succeed. I recently picked up a Milwaukee drill/driver for $80 LESS than the competition. I wish I'd bought two! They even have Saturday and Sunday hours throughout the year.

I am yet to go down there and have them not have the correct part for my job, and even if I don't know what part I need. One question at the front desk and I always seem to find it quick. A lot of times with them walking me to and showing me the exact part I need.

Things magically ring up more than sticker price. Not doing yourselves any favors against the big box stores

Prices higher than the box stores but always very helpful in finding what you need and always courtious and friendly

It's the closest place to where I live. Prices are reasonable and they have plenty on hand. If they don't, they always order what you need.

Love the home town feel and service. Prices are competitive. Free delivery is awesome
