Kathy's Cakes and Big Dipper Ice Cream

LOVE LOVE LOVE for the longest time this was the only place with blue goo around here, love all the little baked goods too, they sell day old baked goods for $1 at the counter as well if ur just looking for a little treat! whenever i go now i’m always helped by either Anthony, Tyler, or Rianna and they always do an amazing job :)

Excellent baked goods, ice cream and lunch! They just started offering a lunch menu and we loved it! The staff is always great and very personable.

Everything was really great, the cake was delicious and was made exactly as requested, even as far as matching a photo of a cake that we brought in. They're very friendly there and I really enjoyed going there and "Jennifer" was a great help and a very friendly and welcoming person.
I also wanted to mention that they make lunch there and I had a very tasty sandwich.
The hours of 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. 🍰👍
I also wanted to mention that they are a really great ice cream store 🍦🍨and stand that is open year-round, except for the outdoor part.
They have some beautiful looking pastries and cookies as well.

Ordered a German Chocolate Cake that was the best ever. Beautifully decorated and price was right! Even though they were extremely busy, December 23rd, the staff was friendly and helpful!! We will be ordering again!

Great Cake. Ordered a German Chocolate Cake for my husband's birthday. Best cake we have had. The pecan coconut frosting with chocolate buttercream was awesome. The cake was light and fluffy, if that is a cake term! Awesome!!

Always friendly staff when we go. Can't say no to some ice-cream nachos! Love that they offer regular and chocolate waffle pieces. Gelato is rich, like it should be.

Two minor suggestions that don't take away from the experience.
1) can you put the ice-cream for the nachos in a cup vs one of those paper basket/bowl. The sides leak way before you can finish them.
2) not so many toppings in the Gelato. The Gelato should shine through with hints of toppings. Again, just my thoughts. Or just the batch I got.

Great creamy ice cream. Prices where correct and got lots of ice cream compared to some places this summer. Will be returning lots this summer!

Kathy's staff did a wonderful job with my daughter's wedding reception! The treats were delicious and we got many compliments on them. They were so good that her cousin & his fiance hired Kathy to do their upcoming wedding.
The ice cream is good too!

Stopped in twice while visiting family in Fulton. More than generous portion sizes and a menu with so many delicious options, I honestly found myself overwhelmed! My husband got a strawberry flavor burst and I finally decided on the pig pen sundae. They both tasted wonderful! I look forward to our next trip up north - we'll definitely come to Big Dipper again!

Kathy’s cakes are the place to go to when you really want a good cake. They are delicious and very beautiful. I was very satisfied with the staff and the cake that I ordered..I fully recommend them if you need any goodies. Will definitely be ordering from them again!!! Absolutely delicious! I always rely on them for any time I need a cake and they have never disappointed. I had brought my younger nephew to this place to get her cake worked out and it was so much fun to se them work with her they ended up coming to the conclusion of this really epic cake and it was all thanks to them! I will continue to get fat of their delicious cupcakes for the rest of my days! Absolutely adore them 10/10 would recommend!!! (Pic of cake below)

This was my third visit, both soft and hard ice creams are delicious! Cookies are great too. Staff is friendly and there is plenty of space to enjoy your treat of choice right there.

We've gotten ice cream from here a few times. It was great the staff is friendly. We also ordered a ice cream cake for our baby's 2nd birthday. It was so cute and tasted great.

We ordered cupcakes for my wedding reception. They were beautiful and tasted as good as they looked. The lemon buttercream frosting is my personal favorite.

All ways supper nice, and the portions are really great for the price

The young men that waited on us were so friendly. The ice cream servings were very generous, and we both said it was the best ice cream we had ever eaten!

My sister ordered one of Kathy’s cake for her husband’s birthday. Absolutely delicious! She got the white cake with raspberry cream filling.

I bought an ice cream cake for my boyfriend’s birthday. It was honestly the best cake I’ve ever had. She killed it! Flavor, the design on top. She even made custom flavor for me (Oreo and caramel). A few members of my family don’t tend to like frosting. I have no clue what frosting she used but we ate every bite. Everyone was fighting over seconds. Absolutely coming back for every cake!

First time here and had the best brownie sundae ever! (We've had a lot of brownie sundaes from a lot of different places)
They actually let us pick out which specific brownie that we wanted (they sell brownies and cookies)! The brownie was very moist and chocolaty. The ice cream, hot fudge, etc were very good too!
