Cho Ba Mien Asian Market

This is my favorite Asian market in the city. If you are in need of a particular spice or addition to your cuisine, this is the go-to place. It's conveniently located on Davis Rd (off of Washington Rd) and ⚓ by Carolina Pottery. There are lottery tickets, beer, and an assortment of wines available also. Our mainstays are the cases of ramen and the selection of fish that I use for bait when I fish.

This sandwich is the meaning of life. What are you even doing right now? They have Thai Tea in the drink isle, pairs REAL nice! Grab a soft cream cheese roll while you are at it. Go!

I love coming here so I can find food from far away places. For Asians like me who long for our type of food and the ingredients we need to make it, it is such a blessing to be able to do that. Thank you for being there!!

They have asian ingredients that I buy for my cooking recipes, love their pork belly with skin , pork leg , pork fat , beef tendons , bean sprouts , ampalaya , eggplant , fresh shrimps , cooking bananas!

This Asian market is one of the best ones I have been in. It is about the same size as a conventional grocery store. They have anything you will ever need and the price is not bad at all, definitely much lower than markets I have been too. They have any of the Buldak noodle flavors and every other ramen you could need. Specialty Asian flavor of Cheetos and Oreos and the freshest produce and Kimchi. They even have a seafood and meat section which look very fresh. Definitely make this a stop for all your Asian food needs.

Nice market! They have Korean, Filipino, Vietnamese, all the Asian goodies/seasonings/sauces you need. They have fresh veggies, Korean kimchi/cucumber kimchi, seafood, frozen stuff and even cooking utensils. This is a pic of what I bought and their kimchi is soooo good! Will def go back for more and will take more pics.

This is my second time coming to this market. They literally have everything I was looking for. Great customer service. Their prices are reasonable as well. I will be coming here regularly.

Great Asian store with lots of diversity in product and friendly staff. Everything in this picture was bought at Cho Ba Mien. Yes, they make fresh banh mis (Vietnamese sandwiches) on a delicious french roll. They also have other pastries and buns available, but in limited quantities. Make sure you show up early to snag some!

An excellent Asian grocer that caters to all sorts of sorts of groups of people. They have korean foods, Japanese food, Chinese items and of course Vietnamese items as well. In addition to canned stuff, they have a grocer section in the back with fresh vegetables and a butcher that cuts fresh meat from pig, chicken, some pieces of beef as well as frozen sea food like entire whole squids. They had a nice sale on the first day they opened, and it's definitely a place I'd recommend anyone interested in Asian food to check out.

This place is great! Everytime I've gone it's been to obtain ingredients for a dish I've never made. When I can't find something or have no idea how to say the ingredient, I just ask one of the friendly teens near the front to help. The are ALWAYS pleasant, helpful, and make suggestions. It makes trying new dishes way less intimidating.

Been shopping here for many years and still get delighted when I walk inside and see their end caps full of fresh jiggly cakes and other treats, and of course the bahn mi sandwiches. The aisles are full of ingredients from all over Asia and not simply your standard stock items in an Asian market. We have a daughter with Celiac so I especially love their huge selection of rice wraps, noodles, and the 25-50lb bags of short grain rice. The kids always love the candy and cookies aisle, of course. It's a bit pricey to shop here, but that's obviously because of the cost of importing so many items from around the world, which I appreciate and am willing to pay to support!

Reasonably priced.

Love this little store! They have such a plethora of Asian foods, and a great variety. The staff is helpful, and though the store has a distinct seafood smell, it's always been very clean when we have shopped. We've shopped here for about three years and never had any issues!
