This is an awesome place with something for everyone. From Taylor Swift, to Star Wars and Marvel, and all the quirky and wonderful in-betweens, you will not be disappointed. The staff are extremely warm, friendly and accommodating. They are educated about their stock and have many years of experience working in the comic-world. The selection is vast, you could search through their collections for hours. You have to stop in!!

Always find gems here at excellent prices with knowledge people that are customer focus. I often spend hours just talking with the owners about comics, gaming, and records. They are very personable and is also the reason why my 11 yr old got into comics. She also will only trade her Pokémon cards with Funky Town because she trust them.

When you walk into Funky Town Comics & Vinyl the vibe instantly tells you you're in best comic store in town bar none. Of course the comics are on point, however they also have very hard to find key issue displayed on their back wall. And the toys, everything from new figures to the hard to find and the higher end status - forget- about- it. Let's not forget the vinyl; they're always getting new stuff in and have an impressive collection of older vinyl. If you're thinking about checking them out, stop thinking and just head there.

Great selection of records, vintage toys, and comic books. I mainly stop in to thumb through their records. I never leave disappointed and the people who work here are super down to earth. You can seemingly strike up a conversation about anything with them which is what keeps me coming back. Thank you for opening your shop! It’s really unique and fun.

Really nice comic, toys (new and vintage) and vinyl store. The owners are very friendly and helpful. The selection of toys, comics and record is very nice. Prices were very fair and reasonable. I look forward to visiting again!

Funky Town Comics is such a gem! I recently stopped by while visiting a friend and was instantly smitten with this place. The owners are so knowledgeable and friendly; I could have easily spent hours here. I never felt rushed or pressured to by anything, but ended up leaving with a haul of comics and hard to find collectibles to add to my stash. I am a newer enthusiast and I never felt that I was asking a stupid question! I highly recommend making a trip here…. great people, great selection and great prices!

Your experience here will really depend on what you are after. It's kinda an eclectic mix at this place but that said it changes all the time! Vinyl records, "classic" toys (star wars, gi-Joe, etc) with some more modern ones thrown in as well. An interesting assortment of comics as well, some new but mostly back issues now nicely organized. Since I first posted they have really grown their inventory, they have really packed it in at this point and stuff is looking great! The staff is always friendly and they are extremely helpful.

Really nice staff, frequently has discounts. I only come for vinyl but they always have a nice selection. I usually manage to find one or two used records I get excited about every time I come!

The best comic shop I’ve ever been to. As a female I feel safe and welcome. I also feel like I can have a conversation with anyone in there and not feel ostracised for being a female who is interested in comics. Their selection is unmatched and the fact that I can have a pull box with them brings me joy. The people who work there do so with such admiration and knowledge and it makes the whole experience worth it.

My family and I love our trips here!! Jeff, Jesse and Chris have the most amazing personalities and are always so welcoming and friendly, like family. Best local business, best prices and atmosphere 👌

One of the best aspects of Funky Town is the friendly and welcoming environment they foster. Without ever being overbearing (there've been times I've just quietly browsed for an hour), the guys here offer a greeting, ask about your interests, and make suggestions if you want them. You might just pop in for that one thing you were looking for, or you might find yourself in a two-hour conversation about Star Wars. It's a great place to find cool stuff and a sense of community.

A true gem for the Fairmount and Camillus area. A fantastic trio of hometown heroes for owners, including the legendary and locally beloved Jeff Watkins, of longtime Cloud City fame, One of the greatest local selections of comics, collectibles, and vinyl in CNY. A true must visit for any collector or afficianado.
