The customer service at this UPS store is phenomenal! The staff are friendly and attentive, even with a lengthy line; they kindly move customers through as quickly as positive with the smile and just as engaging with customers. They know their stuff too; ask your question, they will have an helpful answer. 😊

Recently went to this store and had some complications (all made by me, the user). The way that Destine went above and beyond to get my time sensitive package corrected and shipped out was jaw dropping. I LIVE for this level of customer service!! Whoever is the owner and/or GM, please recognize this young man because we need behaviors like this duplicated by others. Again, thank you Destine!!

This UPS has the most upbeat customer service in DC and I have been to just about all of them. The associates always make me feel welcomed and are happy to serve. I always leave with a smile and look forward to coming back. Keep up the good work and thank you for all the positive energy

The staff was friendly and efficient. Brian was the notary who helped me immediately and made an electronic copy for my records . UPS also offers USPS services so the document was sent by Priority Mail from the store. There was a parking space outside the door. That made my day.

What I'm about to say isn't hyperbole: This location has the best customer service I've had not just in the delivery service but in any establishment based in customer service. Thomas, Leonard, and Brian are more helpful than I can put into words and top-notch people.

Brian Simpkins did the impossible. He was so quick and efficient. His expertise allowed us to get what we needed and to make an appointment that was urgent. The rest of the staff picked up the customers for him as he helped us. They work together as a well oiled machine. Make this your go to stop if you're in Washington DC.

This store has gone out of their way on several occasions to help me. Every time I have worked with them they have ALWAYS gone above and beyond and I wish all of my experiences with shipping companies was like the experiences I’ve had at this fine UPS Store. I cannot recommend this store and their staff enough.

What a delightful team of people! Just visited the store to ship some holiday items. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and knowledgable.

The guy at the front desk, we do not know his name (Bryan?!) but he was a life saver for us.We needed urgent notary and he did it ASAP and was very helpful. We need people like him.5 stars for his kindness.

Thomas Davis and this store are just fantastic! We sent some keys to Istanbul, Turkey, and they were lost over there. The recipient went to UPS in Istanbul, even after they were supposed to have been delivered, and that office said there is no package. We filed a claim, and UPS International just kept passing the buck. They kept saying it was an "open investigation" - even four months after the delivery date. Thomas Davis kept on it, kept up communication, and eventually the local store manager agreed to have Thomas refund our money....even though UPS International refused to admit the keys were lost. It was 176 dollars, so we were very happy to have reached a successful conclusion. Thomas will go to bat for you, even if it takes a very long time to do it! Kudos to the crew at this store!

Nicest staff who always greet with a smile. Fast in and out. Store manager runs a great shop.

Eric was super helpful! He took all the time I needed to make sure delicate items were bubble-wrapped and stored safely. I felt very confident that some pretty expensive electronics would get to their destination safely and without damage. Really appreciate Eric for helping me out!

I went in with my wife, infant and toddler to sign piles of papers and have them notarize it. It was a long process, but Thomas was a true professional and made the process much better than it could have been otherwise. In between helping us, he assisted other customers but always made sure I was ok. Many of those customers also knew Thomas by name and we’re friendly with him, which doesn’t surprise me after my interaction with him. Shout out to his coworker Laila as well.

Thomas & Brian, at UPS Van Ness in Washington, DC, are tops. They have both the business knowledge & personality that always make it a pleasure transacting business in this store.

Thomas and his staff are pros, and you can see from other reviews that I am hardly the only one who feels this way. They are professionals who take obvious pride in customer service.

Friendly. Professional. Quick. We went to the Post Office yesterday to send three packages. The clerk rudely stated that my boxes were too busy because I had crossed out name brands, etc. on the boxes per the PO guidelines. She told me I needed to go buy brown tape and cover them up. So, we decided to just go to UPS 20 minutes away. And, wow, what a difference! Larry at the Van Ness store and his co-worker gave every single person a smile and always asked, "How can I help you?" And moved mountains to do it. Thank you, Larry!!! Smiles go miles for sure. I went from being angry at the PO to happy to have met such a wonderful employee at UPS. I will be bringing all of my shipping to UPS.
