Sara's Market & Dry Cleaner

Sara’s recently reopened under new management, and is incredible. They carry a nice selection of high quality dry goods, wine, frozen foods, and some basic staples like milk and eggs.

They have a deli counter in back now, where they are slinging lights out sandwiches, salads, and a burrata bowl.

The folks who run it also run Dent Place Market in West Village Georgetown, and are so nice. They are focusing on the best quality local products, and go out of their way to spotlight local producers.

I’m a tradesman, working in Georgetown often. Forgot my lunch today and decided to tryout Sara’s. I can’t say that it’s the cheapest option, but that was the most delicious salad I’ve ever had !! Prosciutto cut to order, delicious greens and fresh cut tomatoes. And such a quaint little store I was the only customer the whole time I was there. Most of the things on the shelf were very expensive, a great convenience for those whose time is more valuable

Charming, curated, precious shop. Always something new and delicious!!!! Love that I can drop off my dry cleaning at the same location.

Popped in just to check it out. Was happily surprised! They have good selection of wine, some beers, and lots of ice cream! Plus a few other essential items.

To top it all off, the shop owner was amazingly friendly. Even said they do monthly wine tastings.

Lovely. Curated. A gem of a local corner store. Wish NW DC had more options like this.

Always a friendly smile from Girma when at Sara's. Great option for last minute essentials or the Friday night wine run. Lots of options! Dry cleaning services, as well.
