Yang Market

We love Yang Market!! We were staying in the area for a weekend trip to DC and were looking up food places in the neighborhood and saw their great reviews; and they did not disappoint! Food and coffee were great, staff was wonderful and prices were so affordable. We went every morning for coffee and bagels and as New Yorkers found them exceptional! Even a coffee hater will love their cold brew! Don’t skip on Yang Market! It’s a must stop on any DC trip!

Yang Market is such a fun and funky local spot, a true local gem. Sandwiches, classic candies, all your basic needs, beer & wine, and much much more.

You have to check it out and get some treats to sit outside at their little tables and enjoy!

One of the very best things about living in Eckington! They’ve got home essentials, a deli, coffee, snacks, beer and wine. And they’re dog friendly and just welcoming in general. We love LOVE Yang Market and are so grateful we live nearby!!

Beautiful flowers placed on tables outside as we walked up. I love for the elderly to see beautiful things during the day. My neighbor did enjoy them. Great customer service.

Can't recommend Yang's enough. Such a great spot in the neighborhood with great selection and the nicest owner and staff (as rightfully mentioned by other reviewers). Every neighborhood needs a Yang's!

Lovely neighborhood corner store, with all the basics and a great variety of fun snacks and treats. They make excellent sandwiches and carry baguettes/sourdough/nice breads from Lyon bakery and Bullfrog bagels. Owners are kind and thoughtful. I’m often in here more than once a day—it’s the best!

Love having this store close by. Great for when you need something last minute but even more so for the egg and cheese biscuit sandwiches. This would be our treat during virtual school and my daughter would unwrap the sandwich with great delight and take the first bite and exclaim that these sandwiches taste like heaven. She could forget for a little while that she would have to go back to just sitting in front of a screen once lunch break was over. Thanks Yang Market, you made this difficult school year just a little easier on us!

This market is all of it and several bags of chips!!!! I love it everything from the fresh fruits and veggies to the 1.00 candy table not too mention they sell ginger chews and that a sure winner for me. I can't leave without talking about the amazing cheese and chili nachos, yep I said"AMAZING"Chile they have real chili not that heat and serve out the can.... delicious 😋#RECOMMEND TO EVERYONE!!!

What a fun and convenient neighborhood bodega! The sandwich counter has a lot of fun and fresh options for salads and sandwiches alike, the refrigerators had lots of different beverages as well as fresh groceries like cheeses, fruits, and vegetables. The service was friendly and prompt, and the goods are decently priced. Definitely going back!

Great neighborhood grocery store with an out of this world sandwich shop. Go early though, since it is a traditional deli and they only have so much of each meat prepared for each day. The roast beef goes quickly, so go early if you want some.

A neighborhood family-run business that is well-stocked with pantry items, snacks for kids and grownups, beer and wine, fresh fruit and veggies, and has tasty, affordable sandwiches for breakfast, lunch and dinner! Awesome new corner shop. Great sandwiches, good selection of snacks/groceries, great service. Maybe it is slightly more expensive than your average place but I'd rather pay the extra 5% to a local business then for an instacart service fee.

I come here multiple times a week, love the sandwiches and the staff. Good coffee in the morning.

Neighborhood gem. Awesome sandwiches (named after lines in "My Cousin Vinny"!), coffee (Junius Coffee!), and owners/staff. Yang also has grocery basics that are always useful in a pinch! Love this place and am very grateful for it. Thanks, Pete and Lyndsi!

Cute neighborhood market with aspirations. A not unpleasant mix of Bodega merchandising with some organic high end stuff thrown in for good measure . Selection and in entry depth is small.

They are the nicest people in town. I always ask for a surprise sandwich and it is always exactly what I wanted! I gladly spend my money here instead of a grocery store!
