I absolutely love this store! It used to be a staple toy store as I was growing up and they did a wonderful job updating the space and making it their own! The owner was so sweet when I took my twins in. She was kind and spent time chatting and even gave them the cutest gift with card. She is even calling me when they get another toy in so we can have two of one of their favorite toys! I’ll be back again and again.

This store is such a special gem in the sweet town of Jacksonville. A wonderful selection of interactive and educational toys. I love that I can find high quality toys that will last. The staff are kind and welcoming. Such a beautiful store, bright and fun! We love Happy Alpaca!

We love Happy Alpaca! It’s our go to stop on days spent in Jacksonville. The store is so bright, open, and inviting. My elementary schooler and middle schooler alike enjoy the store and find things to bring home. I love that they mix things up, so there’s always something new to see. Plus, the staff is always helpful and friendly! Highly recommend.

I love coming to the store for fun and unique gifts for my nieces and nephews! The welcoming open doors really draw you in to a one of a kind place that you will have a hard time leaving empty handed.

With 5 grandchildren I would love to support this local toy store. Sadly, I can not. Every time I drive by and see their front door wide open on a 90 degree (or a 45 degree) day all I can think about is the amount of planet-warming energy they are wasting.
Their website mission statement states, "Our children are our present and our future..." Sadly, we are already seeing places where children can not play outside in the summer because of excessive heat. Please do not add to that problem by needlessly wasting energy.
I stopped in the store one 90-degree day and asked that they close the door to keep the cool air inside. Nothing has changed.
If the door closes, I will gladly open it, step inside and shop.

This toy store sold me an ant farm in which it’s illegal for those ants to be sent to Oregon. I would expect a toy store to be more informed on the products they sell. As one can imagine, my kiddo wasn’t very stoked to find this out after he had been waiting by the window for the mail delivery person every day.
