1 West Dupont Circle Wines & Liquors

All of my experiences here have been very pleasant. They have a really nice selection of just about everything. Most notable are the bitters! They have just about every kind of bitters you can think of. Staff has been pleasant during all of my visits. Helpful without being pushy. Prices are pretty reasonable for DC. Some bottles are better deals than others but worth checking out regardless.
I've not checked out their wine selection so can't speak to that but can say that their liquor selection is worth checking out.

In town for some vaca. Stopped in here several times during our stay. Selection for wine etc is awesome. After my purchase today, I spoke with the owner, and stated that this is one of the finest customer service driven places I have been recently. Every employee is over the top willing to help out from finding a product to carrying it to the counter for you. Definitely recommend!!!

Once I went for a UberEat pickup order and dropped my wallet, they immediately contacted Uber service and had them call me, thus I was able to get my wallet exactly the way I had left. Thanks to their consideration.

These guys were amazing! Needed a gift for a client and they went above and beyond to make sure it got to them. There were some issues on my clients side and they worked through them all to make sure the bottle they helped me pick got to them in time.

Ordered 2 bottles online, and paid for 2 day shipping. 1 bottle was pretty expensive and I was a little worried about the packaging from the store. I was very happy today when I received my shipment. Both bottles were wrapped in a ton of bubble wrap and 1 was in a wine bottle type shipping container. You could have dropped this box from the top of a building without worry! I've seen complaints about pricing on rare and limited stuff, but honestly I don't mind paying more than retail for something I simply cannot find. My only concern is that it arrives in pristine condition and they delivered.

I love how well-stocked this store is. I make a lot of cocktails and I frequently wind up here when my local store doesn't have what I need. They're also on Drizly, so I can check in advance if they have what I need.

Their basement is a whole separate wonderland of wine and wine-adjacent products. I don't know enough about wine to really appreciate it, but I've gotten the odd sherry down there that I loved.

The team at 1 West is always friendly and helpful. When making deliveries, they always call me if they hit traffic/expect to arrive later than originally estimated. They call if I order something they don't have, and always make great recommendations for replacements. When I order on minibar/drizly, I go out of my way to order from them. Thanks team!

Excellent place to stock up right for an epic party. Knowledgeable, willing to go to lengths to find the perfect Belgian Triple keg, or help you explore and refine your Tequila and Mescal palette. Frequent customer. I recommend.

It's a good store. The prices are quite affordable and their staff are friendly. All these negative reviews must be from tourists who stay around DuPont Circle and the West End area. The locals all shop at this store for their great selection and well-lit interior,. You just do not get that at State Liquors.

Was looking for a specific wine as a gift (not a nice wine, but highly sentimental). They were out of stock, but the store was kind enough to talk to distributors and get the wine for me. Delivered promptly. First rate service!

We call it "the magic liquor store" because it seems to glow from the street, luring us in. Everything is pristine. Everything is in stock. The employees are too helpful. Everything you've ever wanted to imbibe - maybe not EVERYthing, but hey, this is Dupont - is available at the magic liquor store. Go there.

Whenever I come to MD/VA I have to stop here to pick up a couple bottles of Silverback Honey Rye Burbon to take back to LA with me. It is THE BEST!
