Awesome Aldi. The produce looked great for mid-afternoon on a Saturday, not picked through and all over. The place was clean and the employees were friendly. I think this one may be considered an Aldi Express. There’s no self check out stations.

Really great experience with budget friendly prices. The place is clean and organized. Always stocked. Now there is even self checkout so you don't have to wait in lines. Just don't forget to bring your bags, they self paper bags for .12¢ and quarter for the cart.

This store is always clean and easier to get in and out of but today Nate, the store manager , went above and beyond for us. He was patient and helped us to solve our problem with a positive attitude. I have nothing but praise. We were treated with respect in this crazy time.

Was suprised that this smaller store had so much to offer. Very good shopping trip!

I have several Aldi's near me and my work, and this is my preferred one. They keep things neat, organized, and fresh. It's not usually too overwhelmingly busy when I go, and when it is busy, they try to open enough check outs to accommodate. They don't have everything a traditional grocery store has, so if you're looking for a unique spice or unusual ingredient you may not find it here. But you will find your general items such as bread, produce, meat, dairy, snacks, zip lock bags, paper plates, etc. Their prices are better than traditional grocery stores for most things, so I usually start my grocery trip here and than any items they don't have I'll grab at another store. They also have rotating seasonal items. Be sure to bring your own bags so you don't have to buy any at check out, and of course you'll need a quarter for your cart - but you'll get it back when you return your cart.

I love this place. Milk is .99 cents a gallon and eggs
. .45 a dozen. U can't beat that. And I love their produce and meat Dept. Meats are really priced low and good! Love their fit yogurt for .33 cents. Store is clean and friendly.

It is not the Aldi I grew up with......well lit, clean with a Harris Teeter feel. Great prices! Good selection of cheeses, and vegetables looked good. I even saw lobster tails. Note that you do need a quarter for the grocery cart which you will get back when you return the cart. We will definitely be making frequent visits.

Today was the first time I visited this store. It is conveniently located right in front of a super Walmart. The store was well stocked which is a plus. I used to go to the ALDIs in Smoketown but after suiting so many time and not finding what I need I will be going straight to the one in Dumfries from now on.

Aldi doesn't carry every food but the food that it carries is insanely well-priced. Chips and snack food, milk and eggs, those are the best prices in town. The produce always looks fresh and delicious. They have some surprisingly good wines and some amazingly cheap ones. Other items are hit-and-miss on the quality.

I love this Aldi! It's very clean, the parking is good, & the staff I've encountered have been friendly. Aldi has the BEST prices on fresh produce & the quality is great. They also have great peices for everyday stapmes such as bread, eggs, pasta, etc. Aldi has other unique, seasonal finds as well (for example, I just bought a bubble lawn mower toy & water shoes for my toddler this summer, in the winter I found a great travel mug). Definitely my go-to place for grocery shopping!

As usual Aldi delivered! The store is clean even though it was Christmas Eve. The employees were very helpful and did a great job of helping customers find items at the last minute. Prices of course were within reason and because it was not a Walmart the store was not very crowded and had ample Supply. Way to go!

I haven't been to this location before! As much as I visit the Smoketown and Galveston location, this is a shame! But the latter two have means of reaching their locations without Route 1, and for this Dumfries one Rt1 is absolutely required. This store has a smaller parking lot it shares with 4 other small businesses in its plaza making it kinda a quick stop at best.

This is the nicest Aldi I've ever been to. It's very big, bright, and clean. The produce is always in good shape. And they sell some local meats, wines, and craft beers.

Bright beautiful store and the prices are unbeatable! I'm so glad to have an Aldi 5 min from my house. I've been shopping at Aldi for years and always have to travel to Woodbridge, and Woodbridge is getting so congested I hate going there so this makes it so I almost never have to go to Woodbridge again!

This ALDI is normally relatively clean and the staff is very courteous. Typically I find that Friday evenings are a less ideal time to go due to the busyness. Remember, like every other ALDI, there are no free bags, if you want them, bring them yourself, or liberate empty boxes.

Aldi is great in general! But this newer build off route 1 has wider aisles. Staff is friendly and haven't had any issues. Like most Aldi stores, $1 gallon milk!

Best place to buy certain staples (eggs!!). Limited food selection but what they have is best priced. Fast check-out..bring a quarter for a cart.

Milk at Dumpfies 98¢ ! All others are regular prices 2$and some cents ! Water 24 for 2.98 spring and gronola cheap ! Off brands but great to me ! Can't tell the difference ? Its all in the mind ! Pay if you want to waste your money ! Berries cheap ! Just try it you'll like it !

Love our Aldi! Great staff and great prices. If Aldi doesn’t have it, you don’t need it.

A better way to shop. I am a fan of the brands. I like Apple and Nike and Brooks brothers and definitely General Mills and Boars Head. Aldi has none of that. They are also not a huge grocery store like wal-mart or Costco or Wegmans. But that means that there’s usually only 1-2 choices to any particular product.

Which may sound like a negative because it’s also not the brands we’re used to seeing. But the reason I like all those brands is quality. And, the reason I like choice is because you think you’re finding a bargain more easily. But in reality it’s usually information overload and you can’t make a decision as easily when there is a ton of options for every product. I’m not just saying that. There are studies that prove that to be true.

So, you get your grocery shopping done so much faster! Having said all that...it took my brain about a month to realize that the food we are buying at Aldi is quality stuff 99 times out of a hundred. And that one time you find something that just doesn’t have a great flavor or whatever, they have a double price guarantee. They’ll replace it and give you your money back. Who doesn’t like that?

And, Aldi has forced both our local Walmart and Target to drop the price on eggs and milk. We were paying 1.89 for a dozen eggs before Aldi opened. Now, each store has them for less than .50 cents. Think about that. It wasn’t what they need to charge. It’s what they could charge.

I will say in the interest of going in prepared that they don’t have a large spice section so don’t have some of the more specialized spices like powdered curry or dried leaves like mint, cilantro or parsley.

If you want to feel successful at Aldi, make sure you bring a quarter for the shopping carts. Make sure you leave your ego at the door, and make sure you try one of their ginormous take and bake pizzas. All the rest is a piece of cake. As a family of three, we buy groceries on a weekly basis and if we’re careful can spend less than a hundred dollars. If we want to splurge on some junk food it’s about 120. Hopefully that will give you an idea of the awesomeness that is Aldi.
