Of course, the biggest thing going around is the construction of the new Costco in Linda, CA. Going up where the long empty Peach Tree Mall used to be. Thanks in part to the urging of our Yuba County supervisor Andy Vasquez. Of course it's still in the early construction phase. But, the foundation is laid, wall framing is starting to go up and it looks like they might be excavating for a gas station near the entrance at North Beale Rd.

Not sure how local traffic will be able to handle the flow of traffic through our terrible infrastructure in this area.
Some major changes are going to have to happen in order to handle traffic. But, unfortunately, the wheels of progress move very slowly in this part of Yuba County.

We shall see!

Got a feeling it will be better to drive to Roseville, CA for the traffic and diversity of shopping! This area is decades behind Sacramento and Roseville.

The staff here are super helpful, everything is easy to find, and the quality and price is right.

Today my groceries were rang up by Kelsie. She was pleasant and was a sweetheart. There was no one else in line so she started helping me put my stuff in my cart without being asked. I was definitely impressed. Definitely management material. Kelsie gets 10/10!

Always better than Walmart. We only go there if we need something very specific that walmart sells. At this Foodmaxx, employees are almost always super friendly and happy. Lines are fairly small unless you catch them on a hard day. 100% prefer this store over every other.
Also, the vegetable/fruit section is always wonderful. Have not purchased a single bad item from this Foodmaxx.

Very nice after the remodel they did inside. Much better. Prices are really great and take credit card unlike winco. Just wish they would fix the potholes in their parking lot

Great and convenient different businesses close bye , taco trucks across the street , restrooms available and need to pay ur pg and e bill? There's also a place for that inside store

I'm sure I'll be back with more names but for now I must say this store never fails to enlighten your shipping experience. Here it is Halloween and despite busy conditions I saw children getting treated like neighbors with treats for their Halloween spirit and Kathryn took the time to help me find the perfect gift personally..... Thanks to the team members of foodmaxx for always keeping this place shining even before the makeover 👍💯

Too bad I lost my wallet. There were good sales on produce & already packaged meat boxes $25 each containing 2 pkgs Bacon, 1pkg w/4 steaks, pkg chicken and pkg. pork.

I shop here frequently because it’s right near my house. Good prices. Clean and organized. Employees are friendly and helpful. The only thing is there are some shady people out front at night. I wouldn’t go there alone if I was a woman.

An excellent store. I was amazed at the variety of items that didn’t appear in my one stop Walmart. But, at the same time there were a lot of things that I buy and got used to and em weren’t on the shelf here. All in all a good shopping experience with ample space for a wheelchair, and they have shoppers electric scooters which is a big plus for me. Nice store.

Clean, price deals, and fast

Huge center, parking lot very large, Disabled parking, electronic doors, Friendly staff Kathy Merriam is incredibly above and beyond. She is extremely knowledgeable, friendly, patient and fast. Store is clean, great variety of foods, drinks, cleaning supplies and so much more. We go often and they have what we need.

I want to give a big shout out to the ladies, and gentlemen, of my local store. I came late last night, after work, and needed cash back as a gift. The manager, who happened to be my cashier took the time to search for nicer bills. I appreciate that.

This store has the best produce in the area, it is excellent. And the prices are great too. There's nothing about this store that I don't like. It even has bathrooms, and they are clean.

My first time shopping here I usually shop at Walmart. It was clean, organized, easy to shop, great deals! Line went fast and they have self checkout for 20 items or less. I will be back.

This is a great store. Very clean which means a lot. A lot of help from service workers . There is about everything you need . I did find the prices buck sometimes more than a a discount food store, but the quality is much better . I would recommended this store to anyone

I need items that walmart was out of so headed to food Maxx. Where I got a turkey for 6 dollars due to their special , spend 25 get a turkey for 48 cents per pound..

I am sure that they could put a bit more effort in some if the displays or maybe purchase a few more door freezers for the microwaved foods. They are a bit warm when u buy them like they are. As for the experience it is good. I changed from Walmart to them and I was able to find all of the items I normally would and for a far less price!! #ByeWalmart

Easy to find stuff.wide enuff lanes so you can go around slow ppol or ppol with a bunch of kids most of the time..self checkout is cool unless you like salad then your there looking up veggies forever wishing you went to the slow cheakout where the lady,could do all that homework for you..and there paper bags should not have handles they always let me down having handles should be able to hold up even if I packed the bag wrong.now it's all different they changed the whole store around.kinda hard to find things..prices are almost more than I can afford.will have to get two jobs in order to eat next month.pretty soon our dollar is going to be worthless.then what are we going to do????????????

I ALWAYS choose here over Walmart. The produce has better quality and the employees are always ready to help. They have a decent collection of Mexican and Asian ingredients for things I love to cook.
