The Pleasant Pheasant Bookstore

My kids and I love this jewel box of a bookstore. They have a really fun selection for all ages and we’re always pleasantly surprised by what we find while browsing. They have cozy chairs for kids (baby Poangs!) and grownups and they’re right across from a great coffee shop. Cute stationary and tea towels and calendars and stuff too. Super glad Woodland has this now.

Great indie bookshop with a wide selection of fiction, non-fiction, cookbooks, kid’s books (picture books and YA), graphic novels and more. They also have an awesome selection of board games, stationery and gift-y things.

Right across the courtyard from a cute little coffee shop too. We got some cool books for the whole fam and sat outside with some coffee to read.

My boyfriend found this cute bookstore and we decided to go in and check it out. They had a small selection of WitchCraft books and grabbed one I have been eyeing at other places. Friendly Owners! Will be going back again!

This place is amazing. The owner was courteous and knowledgeable and able to order items that weren’t in stock. They have an amazing collection of games, kids books, comics and more mainstream literature. There prices might not be as cheap as amazing but it’s a blessing to find such a well curated collection in the heart of Woodland. Tucked behind Morgan’s Mill this is a shop not to be missed.

Went in just to browse and ended up buying a bunch of books, so beware! Just kidding, but it's a great store and very friendly. They also have really cute stationary supplies and games. It's awesome to be able to buy from a local bookstore here in Woodland!

A beautiful little bookstore! The shop is well-organized, so it’s easy to find things, and there is a delightful variety of books and interesting games. PP is now one of our regular stops when traveling through Woodland. What a jewel for the community!

A quality, new bookstore with more than just books. Owners very helpful and will order books not on the shelf. Great location (by Morgan’s Mill) and ample parking. The only “new books”bookstore in Woodland. Let’s support them and help keep them in business for our community.

In Woodland, we have a serious need for a bookstore! This is a warm, friendly space that is welcoming with a great selection of literature. Located conveniently next to one of Woodland’s best cafes, I’m sure I’ll have many wonderful mornings at the Pleasant Pheasant with a cup of coffee.

Lovely local bookstore. Small and limited selection, but a lot of fun to browse books, games, and more. So happy to see a local bookstore option in woodland!

nice selection for a small bookstore

I went and bought books here a couple of times. It's a cozy little corner bookstore with limited selections on books. Very cute place and well organized. Would be nice and "pleasant" if staff greeted me with a welcome or a thank you each time I am there and making purchases. However, that doesn't take away their kindness and good service of helpfulness.

A hello when you enter and a thank you when you make a purchase will go a long way. I spent $250 and received neither.
