Old-school Italian butcher & deli! They make their own sausage & fresh mozzarella! Grabbed lunch - ordered The Naples sandwich: Chicken cutlet, imported prosciutto, fresh mozzarella, broccoli rabe, roasted peppers, extra virgin olive oil and balsamic vinegar. The bread was awesome (this usually makes or breaks a great sandwich). Everything was fresh, clean, and delicious. Owner & his wife were super friendly. Their stuffed breads were cut in half; they were stuffed to the max. I can't wait to return & try other things here! Purchased some fresh mozzarella & some treat for home too.

Best meats ever including cold cuts and the best and friendliest staff. They carry fresh rolls, staples on shelves and rice balls that are delicious and other items. My go to place. So happy I found this gem so close to home

Buono's is an authentic Italian Deli and you are always greeted with a smile as soon as you enter. The absolute best Italian heros are made here, their spicy italian sausage is my favorite too. I recommend calling ahead to order so you dont have to wait too long. They are usually busy, because they are the best!

For the past 5 years I have had to live gluten free due to Celiac Disease. One of the things I have missed most is eating raviolis, well that ends NOW. Buono's carries GF raviolis and they are amazing! So close to non GF raviolis.... this past week I bought them and regular raviolis for my family and they could not notice the difference. Thank you Buono's for going out of your way to carry GF pasta after a simple request. Great customer service and great pasta!!!

When our local butcher retired and sold his business in Nutley, we transitioned to Buono's, and it was best decision we made. Jimmy is the best! and the quality of his meats cold cuts, etc... are outstanding!

Moved to area recently and had a family gathering. Ordered several subs from Bruno’s and they were excellent! Real subs, not like the kind at subway. Generous portions of fresh lunch meat and home baked bread but best of all friendly, old school service with a smile. They got it going on! Happy to support local business. I will be back!

Wow! In all my years living in this town this is my first time stepping foot in this place. So super friendly. I was very impressed with how nice everyone is. Quaint little home town butcher and their prices are fantastic! Stuffed bread, two steaks, and 2 Italian meat stuffed mozz balls all for less than $50!? Amazing! I’ll definitely be a repeat customer!

Top notch rustic mom and pop deli that offers great food at reasonable prices. There stuffed breads are PHENOMENAL. I have been ordering them for all my parties and never seem to disappoint and people always ask where they can get some. Also ppl are friendly. Looking forward to using them many times to come!

Everyone that works here is amazing, generous and extremely compassionate! The quality of meats and foods there is remarkably fresh and of high quality. Everything prepared looked delicious.

The best chicken cutlets I’ve seen in 54 years. Real butchers work here, not supermarket meat cutters. I’m embarrassed to admit I’ve lived in north Jersey my whole life and never tried them . My loss. Keep up the fantastic job guys. And anyone out there questioning price , you’ll never understand this gem of a place. A Cadillac will always cost more than a Malibu

I am from Central Jersey/ Long Branch area and commute to Montclair State for school. I go out of my way in between classes to stop here for lunch. Best sandwiches in North Jersey.. possibly all of NJ (not exaggerating).

My friends and I would occasionally stop here my freshman year living on campus 4 years ago.. I have not been able to find a more authentic italian deli since. I just started coming again and its better than ever. I bring the sandwiches back home (each sub is huge.. cant finish the whole thing) for friends & family and everyone agrees... This place has the best quality meats/ bread/ everything. The brocolli rabe on the Naples sandwich? Absolutely delicious. Not only is the food great, the workers are all very friendly and really hook you up with quantity. The food is worth every cent. I wish all delis would take note from these guys... they really know what theyre doing. 10/10 will keep eating here as long theyre open.

Finally made it to Buono’s for the first time today. I’m in love. The nicest people, fantastic, cut to order meats, and phenomenal prepared foods. Already thinking about what I’ll get next time!

OMG.. SOoooo I decided to do a beef bone broth. Of course , grass-fed. AMAZING. I have purchased the grass-fed chicken breast and again I must say, all in all AMAZING. I am so happy that I can come to place where I am able to get meat that is clean due to my health issues. It's all affordable as well. The staff is awesome and friendly, and I will continue to come here as long as they are there.

Excellent home town old fashioned butcher shop! All prime meats!!! Their homemade Broccoli Rabe is fantastic! Pepperoni stuffed breads are delisioso!!
