This place is super busy probably because people are desperately looking for a decent place to buy groceries in the Boston and surrounding areas. The produce is nice. Great selection. The fish is usually very fresh, but not always. Butcher's counter offers Angus beef and some interesting fresh prepared stuffed chicken breasts. The staff are always friendly. Prices are good.

Doughnuts are fresh everyday and are 3 times bigger and better than dunks! Fish Dept is fabulous. You have to check out this store!

By far, the best supermarket in America! Only local to the New England area, this store is a favorite of most people given their quaint store design (like their iconic 50s style checker flooring) and most important, low prices on most food items. Their motto of “More for your Dollar” is a fact, not just a slogan. If you are visiting New England, make a point out of visiting Market Basket to see for yourself. Many stores have an in-store cafe where you can order pastries, sandwiches, pizza and more and eat right there in their cafe.

Clean, easy to reach, well staffed. Pleasant. Their prices are no longer the least expensive around. You have to be a price watchful shopper at Market Basket. It is no longer the least expensive place... Worth the visit.

Great selection and attention to quality. Move the crowd. Prices are the best. They have all my favorite foods and are my favorite place to shop. Wish we could get one in Weymouth! But I will drive to Hanover.

I was at Market Basket Hanover yesterday morning and Brendan(3years) went above and beyond to help me. I was pushing two carriages. 1 holding my toddler up front and baby in his car seat in back and the other full of groceries. He came up to me at check out and offered to help me to my car. Not only that but once we got there he proceeded to load my bags into the car while i buckled in the kids. I did not expect him to go that far in helping. I hope he see this review or one of his managers does because I was so appreciative of this gesture! Thank you again!

Love market basket..just wish they had certain times they restock shelves. Although I do Love having the shelves full. Cannot have it both ways I guess

Market Basket is always a pleasure-I feel like I'm in a little village w all of Santa's helpers IDK why I always get that vibe especially this time of the year-That's no disrespect to the employees they are ALL always competent and professional-MB makes stop and shop look like and old school bicycle in need of a scrap yard- 5 star stuff MB

Picked up a whole turkey sub & a slice of cheese pizza total cost $7.29. Got home the sub was good, roll was nice & fresh, turkey & Swiss was good, lettuce & tomato was good. Price was great what a value. For $2.25 for a massive slice, that he cut into two slices I had to try it. Pizza is real good, nice thin crust, tomato sauce is mild cheese is very flavorful. Service was real friendly in a good mood and smiling. I got the catering menu and phone number. She said I can call in advance for anything. I will for sure. NICE job.

I's the best MB in Boston area I have been. Usually i get this level of service when go to stop and shop.

Love this store because of its prices!!! It is always packed which proves that people look for good buys and pay less.

Best fresh orange juice. A must buy when I shop here and only $5.49 for 32 oz! Lobster special right now (July 8 2023) $7.99 lb. Haven’t seen That low price in some time.

This place is always busy considering! But always well stocked. Every cashier I have come across is helpful and friendly. EDIT: I'm keeping it a 5 because I love the cashiers and baggers they are always great. The only thing that bothers me is if I'm browsing an aisle, I've had associates walk over to me and ask me to move so they can stock. That's great, and I love that they keep everything well stocked, but I think you can wait a few seconds for a customer to finish looking. It happens quite frequently. I was trying to grab a box of tea and asked an associate if he could move his cart so I could grab it quickly and he looked at me rolled his eyes and said I would have to wait till he was done or come back? I could see if I was rude or something, but I'm a fairly pleasant person.

Lots of help, lots of customers but they always seem to have lots of cashiers on hand, so there’s never a long wait. Prices are outstanding, food court is great, greg popped popcorn is very good. Always lots of items in stock. They just do an amazon job overall. Best grocery store hands down.

Excellent every employee I interacted was very kind and helpful, the gentleman in the vegetable area told me the island for the eggs and bread. I asked the lady in the Fish section where the shrimp cocktail was and she showed me, then the beautiful green eyes lady in the shrimp area show me the Lamb on sale and share her beloved Grandmother recipe that's what I am cooking today. Great prices Thank you 💝
