Athena International Foods

Wow!! What a great selection of authentic Greek and MEDITERRANEAN food. The staff were very friendly. The store is immaculately clean and well organized.

I'm going to Athena since the 1980s and always got a quality product at a good price. Now that it's on the new management the quality is just as high if not higher on the food and they have better prepared food and the price are still competitive and well worth a trip. The specialty of olives and cheeses are still above and everybody else on the South shore.

My mother would to bring me to Athena's a lot as a child , when they used to be on legion parkway . She would buy the pastries, they were so delicious!

I stopped in a few months ago to grab some olives.

This is an incredibly special store. So many of the items are imported from Greece and they are truly things you can't find anywhere else. The owner is super fun and incredibly passionate about the stuff they sell.

I especially recommend the fresh feta and the tinned fish.

The news owners have remodeled the store. Athena International is bright and organized. The products line up is plentiful. The home made products are delicious.

Excellent location. I was told by a friend of the store. For me it was hidden unless my friend mentioned. I got the best fresh Greet pastries such as baklava and more. The best tasting cheese to make Greek fried cheese. The attention was impeccable. The young lady behind the counter, I didn't catch her name, has the utmost customer services attention. I'll be back.Thank you.

I've been going to Athena Market since 1984. Though it has recently been sold to another family the quality is equal to but possibly better than the previous owner.
The new owners have kept the the quality of the fresh items such as olives, pastry, fresh pastas, and the large assortment of cheeses. The adding of the hot food that is freshly made there has been phenomenal I have fallen in love with the new eggplant Parm and other hot meals at a reasonable price of $3 a meal .
The 5 star Rating was a given under either owner.

Always a pleasant experience. I been a patron since the early 80's when Nick had the market on legion parkway. I love the new improved look plus the best variety in Mideastern/ Greek foods at very reasonable prices

Excellent selection of all things Greek, including beer and wine. Staff really helpful. Great bakery too with spinach pies and assorted pastries.

I love this store. They have everything at fair prices. Fresh food always. Great lamb inventory. Jams. Tabouli hamous. So much more. And there deserts and breads to die for. Yest a definite 5 star.

Nice variety of Greek and middle eastern foods and pastries! Workers are friendly and helpful. Store is located about a mile and a half from Rte 24 ,what used to be exit 18A is the off ramp to take. Drive to the end and bear right and Athena market is on the right about a 1/4 of a mile.

The staffs are very nice and professional. They get good selections of foods and goods from Greece. This is where I am going from now on to get my favorite pomegranate juice. Definitely recommend. 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Best place to shop your Greek products.P

Athena is a great local shop which sells Greek and Mediterranean products. They have everything from breads, cheeses, dairy products, sweets and teas to spirits and wines. As a matter of fact their Greek wine selection is massive. The prices are reasonable and shopping there is always a great experience.

Amazing store, wide selection of produce ... I managed to find items I actually looked for in few other market places and stores. The food is actually international, produce is fresh yummy and the prices are better than what you come across in most stores. Definitely one of my favorite places to grocery shop. The staff is unbelievably kind and helpful making the place even more special and worth the detour. I personally can't say anything negative about it hence the 5 stars!

Ethnic store carrying Greek and middle eastern foods and spices. The market is well stocked, very neat and clean and carries a wide array of products including fresh and frozen meats, fish, cheeses, olives and so much other goodness. They sell liquor and home made breads and pastries.They also carry some religious items.

Great selection and good prices on Greek and Middle Eastern products. Several different types of feta and olives.
Always love going here to purchase my Greek items. Well worth the trip from Attleboro.
