This is an update: I went on to see if I can do an additional review. Then I saw only a 3 star rating. I have no personal connection. I am confused. This is by far the best pharmacy I have had experience with. I have lived and worked in 6 countries, lived in many places in the US and it's not even close. They go above and beyond. I just want to make sure they get their credit. Being a professor I know that often you hear just the negative reviews, but when things are OK you don't hear it. The rest of the post is from before:

Our favorite pharmacy in the area. We used to live close by and even when we moved a half hour away we still prefer to go there. That is not a knock on others, but this pharmacy really stands out. Everyone at CVS has been great. We've had the most experience with Casey and Meghan, who have just been excellent.

I was traveling in Vermont for the Thanksgiving holiday. Having been unable to get my Flu Shot in Pelham Manor or Bronxville, NY, because of an unwillingness or an inability of the CVS Pharmacist on duty, I took a long shot and stopped in to the CVS on Dorset street on Black Friday. What a pleasant surprise when the wonderful Pharmacist, whose name is Casey Betourney, promptly and efficiently provided me with my flu shot.
This pharmacist is an asset to the CVS Brand. I will definitely stop back in to this new and clean location when I am back in the South Burlington area.

Back in the US and happy to see a CVS, a one stop shop for many needs. Every time I stop in this store the people are very helpful and pleasant.

This visually is one of the better CVS locations around Burlington, but they packaged my perspection in 12 small bottles, when 1 larger bottle would've been fine. I would've preferred less plastic.

Good organization, but getting in and out is awful and I won’t choose this location because of that unless I have to.

No sign was posted and the second door was unlocked and ready to go.. this store is supposed to open at 7am. She told me they're opening at 8am. Get better associates drove an hour for no reason

Unfortunately after years of being a loyal CVS customer in multiple cities and states, our experience with the CVS on Dorset Street has led to us changing pharmacies.

When there was a shortage of a medication that my child needed for an acute illness and the prescription could not be filled at our preferred CVS or another one close by we were told to try another pharmacy but it was my responsibility to call other pharmacies to see if they had the medication in stock. When I brought this to thier employees attention, I was told that they couldn’t be the ones calling other pharmacies to see what was in stock because they had things to do and patients to care for. The customer service was subpar and frankly we will never use CVS for our prescriptions again. It is unacceptable to tell the parent of a sick child (or any patient needing a medication) that they need to be the ones calling around town to find a pharmacy who has the necessary medication in stock to fill a prescription. When did this become the consumer’s responsibility?

Don't wear a hoodie and sweatpants into this store because they will accuse of shoplifting and call you a crackhead. This young woman who works there asked me to take the makeup pallet out of my pocket, so I reached into my pocket to show her my iPhone 13 pro max. I was very confused, so i emptied all my pockets for her. She then proceeded to tell me I looked like a lady who frequently shops there that is a crackhead. There is enough wrong with our society, especially for our homeless population with addiction issues, yet this woman decided it was okay to us harmful language. I am appalled by her behavior. I clearly had items in my hands. She then began to tell me how this woman smells, and I immediately smelled myself, which I smelled like Burberry perfume. The whole interaction was absolutely atrocious because my cell phone was in my pocket from before I entered the store, so I never made a movement that would like I was putting anything in my pockets. Do better CVS.

Just called to ask questions about my prescription to see if they could tell me if it would be covered prior to the deductible being met for my particular insurance, as apparently some medications are. They could not give me that information, which I completely understand, but the person was extremely curt. Interrupted me repeatedly to robotically tell me he could not answer my question, could only provide me with the cash price. When I started to ask another question, he interrupted me again with his robotic sentence, sighed heavily ,and was generally unbelievably obnoxious. I have always found CVS pharmacists to be very helpful in other states. Not this pharmacy!

Went there for 3 passport photos. They came out a bit blurry and I asked if that was going to be an issue and the clerk said "It says that they pass all the standards, it should be fine" and didn't offer to retake. All 3 were rejected. Please train your associates better, this has caused a huge problem for us.

I’ve always jokingly pondered when it would be a proper time to use the word “accosted.” I believe that I may have experienced it at CVS South Burlington VT. My wife ordered pictures about a week ago, and also another batch last night. When I went to pick them up I wasn’t greeted, but rather heard someone yell is there anyone else in line (while I was clearly standing there). I very quietly and calmly (I currently have a voice issue which is making me exhausted and practically whisper) explained that I have several orders of pictures and gave the name. When I was told there was only one, I explained that one was put in last night so it may have just been finished. Unprovoked, this sour person proceeded to raise her voice for the entire front part of the store to hear, to explain how there are four people left at the store and they have a shipment of 11 pallets they have to get through so they won’t be getting to pictures… ideas completely caught off guard, but I was able to explain that my wife received a message that they were done, but was quickly told, “I didn’t message anyone!” (Yeah, no S***, your company does it to keep THIS from happening. Anyway, let me suggest Walgreens on Hinesburg Rd. They’re very nice people!

The worst pharmacy I've ever used, they've messed up my orders every single time. Whenever I have to pick up multiple medicines at once they're always missing something, because the lost the doctor's invoice, and I have to call the doctor to ask them to resend the prescription order, and a quarter of the time the pharmacy STILL doesn't get the medicine. Today they filled the wrong dosage of my medicine, .25 mg when it should be 1 mg! Utterly incompetent, the lot of them.
