Ah! The Texan gas station was the first and only TRUCK STOP in La Vernia.

A lot of you will think they are owned by Buc-Ee's but they are in fact NOT owned by Buc-Ee's None the less, they are a great chain of gas stations in the south-central Texas area. They have clothing,fishing equipment, and DOT supplies; they also have tons of bathrooms,gas pumps, and a great selection of food and beverages.

You will find it surprising to see a really great selection of donuts and kolaches.
And a full kitchen offering a selection of barbecue sandwiches. Cheeseburgers, quick grab-and-go meals, and pizzas

I think everyone should stop by and check it out.

Also, for the hotshots and truck drivers, they have a few pumps in the back with DEF.

Im calling it better buckees because they have actual places to sit and eat in the store. Selections of treats drinks and food are similar to buckees as well as their price unfortunately. Clean restrooms. Decent competitive gasoline prices.

We went for the first time there expecting just some "gas station food". So let's try! Man, we were in for a great surprise. The burger fresh made, great meat like home style burger. Fresh and crisp fries. All for 10.99$, well spent. The seating area nice and clean and very friendly staff! Much better than McDonald's or Burger King here!
We will be back!

This place is great. We were in a hurry but the kids got a slushy and a snack and their donuts were delicious!

Cleanest bathrooms in town and super friendly staff!! Drink and food is more expensive than others in town.

This store is extremely clean and has many food options as you can imagine. The items are slightly expensive but this is a great store for quick items.
