Schnucks Carbondale

I've been shopping there for years. Great store. Good people. Highly recommend it.

A little more expensive than other stores but also has items that other stores don't have, especially local independent businesses.
Their selection of frozen pizzas is the best example of this.

The workers for the most part are positive and it in the best location you can ask for. Accesible from East & West HWY 13 . There's a security guard posted outside the door & the parking spots have good spacing.

Quality meats are locally known to be found here! Along with the standards we've come to know and expect from Schnucks!

Always have what I need, the people are friendly, and I also received some very beautiful flowers that were from here..

Great selection, clean store and friendly staff. Good salad bar and assortment of other prepared foods. Can always find what you're looking for. They often have items no one else has. Their app is fantastic as well.

Probably the best chicken strips in Southern Illinois... could use a bigger variety of sauces though...they seem to have competitive prices with lots of money saving deals

Caught somewhere between a boutique grocer and Kroger, the prices are a little high for the average-quality items. Still, without a Fresh Market or even a Trader Joes, Schnucks is probably the best place for nonperishable items. The co-op is sometimes nicer for perishable items but not consistently. Plus, Schnucks is walking distance for me, and I love filling up my backpack and hiking home.

Their app is WONDERFUL! I always clip all the coupons I need and save $$$ every trip. It pays attention to what I purchase most & sends me savings on those items. LOVE THAT!

Usually my go-to grocery store. Can't beat their packaged or deli Egg Salad! It's the bomb diggity.

Really nice grocery store not too far from Marion Illinois.
This grocery store carries many of the brands that I'm used to from my hometown of Westmont Illinois.
So far this is the grocery store that I would go to when I really wanted to have the more quality brands on my dinner table.

I live really close so it's very convenient. There's a bank in there but I don't bank with them. Their fruit is a little overpriced in my opinion but I think that's okay for the convenience of it's location. They got a meat deli with meats and seafood. A baking section with desserts. An actual deli that has lots of options very nice. Of course they have all the basic essentials milk, veggies, cornbread. (My personal favorite)!!

They have the best donuts in town!!!!!! Lots of deli items available including them Delicious Boars Head hot dogs (fried, they taste like sirloin steak on a bun)!!!! Fresh meats and butcher will cut free!!!!! Lots of booze and wines, I like the large variety of big can single beers!
Pricey but nice store

I shop instacart orders almost 7 days a week. So I'm in multiple stores all day. The staff at Schnucks never huff when you ask for help. Polite, courteous and so helpful. The only store in our area that will let you purchase fish in the meat dept. and fry it for you free of charge and offer seasoning choices. Linda and Almaleeta are my abfab cashiers. You may think it's a little out of your way, but I promise you one thing; it's Worth the extra time it may take. You get to know the staff and they absolutely remember each customer that's become a regular. I have never had a bad experience and I can't say that for every store except maybe aldi in Carbondale.
Thank you Schnucks staff for always asking how I'm doing or for letting me know you have missed seeing me and that you're happy to see me in store again.

Everything is so well situated. The fruits and vegetables are second to none in Southern Illinois. I purchased bakery items that were so fresh, that you could feel and smell them. I was especially pleased with the meat counter. I purchased fresh Bratwurst and cheese burgers, they grilled up so beautifully.
The steaks were fresh cut and so choice, that a stand alone butcher shop might not even compare. Thank you Schnucks for a great shopping experience......

Love shopping here! They carry a large variety of products. More than the regular grocery stores in the southern IL area. They have a fantastic fresh food bar and menu is reasonable for hot food at the deli dept. A great meat dept. that sells meats that you would see in the city which has a great diversified community.
