It's a bookstore. It has lots of books. A nice selection of numerous genres, and if they don't have exactly what you are looking for, they can look it up and order it for you. They have occasional readings, and a nice children's section, with places for readings. They also have a nice coffee area, with other snack/dessert items, and a number of places where people can sit down and read. A fun place to spend a few hours.

I had a nice time, I knew what I wanted when I went in there so it was pretty quick. But it's a pretty big store with tons of variety and offer a decent amount of things that aren't books as well. So, if you go in there with time to kill you'll definitely find something you like. The staff was nice and greeted me when I walked in, plus I got a coupon for a buy one get one free cookie and the Starbucks inside of it 😃

This is one of my favorite stores to wander around in! I love looking through all the books! Barnes and Noble is a bit overpriced, so I recommend finding something you like in the store, and then ordering online when you get home!

I really enjoyed looking around at all the different books. I grabbed a coffee at their cafe and looked for education books.

Barnes and noble has a large selection of all different kinds of books that are usually always new and relevant. Plus, if you are a weeaboo, there is no doubt that you'll love this place considering the larger variety of manga they have. 10/10 would read again

Loved Barnes & Noble it was relaxing & enjoyable Nice atmosphere to be around. Staff was helpful and they were very friendly.

Imagine walking into a store that can instant relax your shoulders, calm your nerves, and make you forget about the hectic rushing world outside... that my friends is Barnes & Noble! It is paradise, a sanctuary filled wall to wall with adventures awaiting your arrival. Their section of Manga books has grown which is fabulous. I absolutely love their journals and planner section, they have a clearance type aisle of discounted items, the children's section is huge and there is homeschooling material for those that choose that path. Self help, cookbooks, religion, fiction, non fiction, biographies, and if they don't have it you may order it and pick it up. There is even a coffee shop inside. So when life has you worn down come and stroll the aisles here. Trust me, you won't leave empty handed or sad :)

One of my absolute favorite places to visit. I love the atmosphere of being surrounded by books. The staff is always super helpful and the building is always really clean despite having a Starbucks inside it. Highly recommend this place.

The staff are always super helpful and if they don't have whatever I'm looking for they just order it and ship it straight to my home. The store is always well kept with strategically placed displays to help you find everything and every book you never knew you needed. I love this location and usually find stuff here I can't find anywhere else!

A wonderful little book store! Truly one of Carbondale’s best. The staff are so friendly and are always willing to help. It’s a great place to grab a new book and settle down in the café with a cozy drink. My absolute favorite spot.

Really love the fact that there is a bookstore, even if it is part of a chain. When I was younger, I really enjoyed going to the bookstore, browsing, and sometimes getting coffee. It seems harder and harder to find a bookstore. Go and support your local location!

This is one of the most accommodating, clean, organized and helpful stores that I have ever shopped in. The store manager and all of the employees are amazing. I will say it is always disheartening to see other customers verbally abusing such a kind and caring staff.

I love love love the selections and varieties of literature. Prices are higher but the quality is worth every penny. The staff is always helpful a pleasant. I've yet to patronize the coffee shop within but I am sure I will.

The staff are accomodating. I am glad they put more furniture back into the store. Comfortable atmosphere. Not uncommon for patrons to space out or fall asleep. Nice 🍲 and sandwich combinations. Vegan drinks are available. One of the last extensive magazine racks.

LOVE this place! They have books and gifts, lots of interesting things to look at. They also have a snack bar that I haven't tried yet. I had no trouble finding help to locate what I needed.
